Byron Bay Malibu Club

Byron Bay Malibu Club The Byron Bay Malibu Club is one of the oldest longboard clubs in Australia. We meet every 2nd Sunday of the month for a surf round at Wategos beach.

The Mal club was founded in 1980 and since then has ran the Byron Bay Malibu classic. This event is one of the only remaining single fin comps in Australia and is the longest running. It sees longboarders from all Over Australia coming to compete. The comp is run by volunteers from the club and all the money raised goes to local charities.
