Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation much easier way to say is 'PNF stretching', a highly effective form of flexibility training that combines stretching and isometric contractions to increase range of motion.
PNF relies on nerve reflexes to relax muscles, often requiring
a partner (Me in your PT) or resistance band.
After your PT session we always finish with a Stretch, to help reduces muscle stiffness by holding stretches for 10-30 sec, targeting key areas that we just worked!
This is your time to lap up your efforts, relax, breathe & then tackle the rest of your day knowing you gave 1hr to yourself - now you can handle everyone & everything else!
