Our Dojo is a family owned and operated businesses where everybody can enjoy and benefit from Martial Arts Training. All age groups and ranks train seperately so the training is specific for your needs and experience. Children don't train with adults and beginners don't train with higher ranked students. Our Busselton full time Dojo is a purpose built training facility that provides the equipment

and atmosphere for the proper training of mind, body and spirit. With both indoor and outdoor training areas our Dojo caters for all aspects of the art, including unarmed combat, weapons and meditation. Our art too is quite unique. The training is much different to other styles where "Kata" or patterns make up a large part of the training. Bukido Taijutsu has a very comprehensive syllabus, and the training methods are very effective in developing real, appliable skills for Self Defence or Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting. Sensei Phil is highly experienced and respected as a Martial Arts Instructor having acheived the grade of 3rd Dan Master Instructor. Phil has also been involved in competition fighting, security work and Meditation over the course of his 26 year career as a professional martial artist. Hey guys.
Sorry for any inconvenience, but let's restart training Monday 2nd Feb instead of tonight.
Next Monday is a public holiday anyway and by the 2nd we'll have our new mats too!!🥳🥳🥳
Monthly fees will, of course stay on hold.

So after 19 steady and prosperous years, the flood in July sent Bukido in a different direction.
The second half of 2025 has seen us become Mobile, teaching in Vasse and Churchill Park Halls and running mobile private sessions for both the public and government departments.
Although I certainly miss my beloved Dojo, being mobile has allowed me to extend the reach of the art as far as Bunbury, Balingup, and Manjimup.
The very nature of Bukido Taijutsu is to be adaptive and fit in with change, whether it's fighting, in business, or other areas of life.
Thank you to all that have stayed with me and supported me during this time. There are too many to list, but every one of you knows who you are.🙏😍

Massive thank you to M8 Mewsic!
These 2 legends, Emmet and Kellie, organised a fund-raiser at the Fire Station Saturday night, playing 8 hours of continuous live music and generating $3000 in donations for Bukido, to help with the recent flooding of the dojo.

The insurance, real estate agent and builders are all painfully slow.

The good news is that I've secured 2 venues to continue classes in for the time being.

Classes will resume next week starting Monday 28 July.
