It’s been a week since my last competition.
I kept putting this off, but I finally wanted to take a moment to reflect and share my journey.
I started training about 11 years ago when I weighed 56 kg. I spent years trying to put on size (sometimes not in the cleanest way), and on March 4, 2025, I began my prep at 94 kg.
After 7 months and 20 days, on October 26, I stepped on stage at 66.7 kg (after depletion) completing one of the most challenging yet rewarding periods of my life.
My goal was clear: to earn a pro card in the Classic Physique or Bodybuilding division and to achieve the level of conditioning where even my glutes were fully detailed.
By my final show, I managed to bring the conditioning I aimed for but I also realized that I’m still far from the physique level needed to stand among pros.
Out of four shows, I placed third once and didn’t place at all in others. It was humbling, but also eye-opening.
Even though it was my first-ever show, I didn’t want to look like it but as prep went on, I realized just how much I had been overestimating myself.
Toward the end of prep, I made some serious mistakes forcing myself through daily 2,000-kcal cardio sessions despite my declining condition, ignoring my anterior shoulder glide and dysfunction, and ultimately watching my chest and back strength drop dramatically.
On top of that, I realized I had approached chest and back training the wrong way for years, and by pushing myself too hard in the final weeks, I caused a sharp decline in overall performance.
This whole process became a true moment of reflection.
It helped me see my weaknesses objectively and understand how I can grow not just as an athlete, but also as a coach.
Most importantly, I’ve learned how to make sure my clients never repeat the same mistakes I did.
From now on, I’m stepping out of the narrow frame I used to be trapped in studying more openly, training smarter, and evolving continuously.
This is just the beginning.
Thank you to everyone who supported me through this journey.
Let’s keep growing together 🙏
