Congratulations to Coach Dave Biwer, and all the Nunawading Spectres players and staff on taking out the inaugural NBL1 championship.

After trailing by 14 points at quarter time, teh Spectres again came from behind to tie the game 53-53 at half time. Taking a 10 point lead into the last quarter the Spectres held off Bendigo to win 99-90

Game MVP was Dain Swetalla with 28 points, Shane McDonald had 10 assists to go with 12 points, Tom Wright 24 points, Simon Conn 15 (in his 300th game), and Costas Hronopolous also had 11pts /11rebs to reward his efforts.

Congratulations to the Spectres Men, as they won back to back championships with a hard fought 3 point win over the Eltham Wildcats. Remo Simankevicius was the Grand Final MVP, Daniel Baxter had 19 points, 13 rebounds 5 assists, Joe Mutimer 17 points and 6 assists. Congratulations to Coach Andrew Cutler, all his players and staff on another great season.
