A new era in Australian Professional Wrestling - Battle Championship Wrestling (BCW) has launched in Melbourne and is Australia’s newest live professional wrestling company. Its aim is to showcase some of the best wrestling live events in Australia. Based out of the Whitehorse Club in Burwood East (located at 298-336 Burwood Hwy, East Burwood VIC 3151) BCW showcases its hard hitting action from ho

me grown and international wrestling talent each month. Their monthly live shows are taped to be televised on Channel 31. Every live BCW event will feature some of Australia’s best wrestlers whilst showcasing former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Total Nonstop Action (TNA) and Ring of Honour (ROH) wrestlers.

Our second announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 72: BEST IN BATTLE III FINALS is a 2 on 1 Handicap Match featuring THE MAN JAMIE TAGATAESE against BEN & BREAKFAST!

At LUCHA DOWNUNDER BEN & BREAKFAST debuted in the Battle Royal on NOCHE UNO with BREAKFAST participating in the Lucha Libre Trios Tournament on NOCHE DOS. While JAMIE TAGATAESE demolished Cletus and took out The Super Grouse Bogans on both nights.

BEN & BREAKFAST are no pushovers, and they are a team that know the ins and outs of their game, their strengths and weaknesses. This contest is not an exhibition, especially as JAMIE TAGATAESE will have his hands full the night prior and there is always a BOGAN roaming around that may cause some trouble.

Time will tell if BEN & BREAKFAST are too much for THE MAN from Samoa!

Our next match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 71: BEST IN BATTLE III OPENING ROUND is a 2 on 1 Handicap Match featuring THE MAN JAMIE TAGATAESE against JORDIE SPARKLES and THE ARTIST FORMERLY KNOWN AS LOCKIE!

THE BIG MAN burst onto the scene attacking The Super Grouse Bogans before defeating Cletus in a one sided debut last show. Bush Kelly tried his best after Cletus’ bout only to receive the same fate. Now TAGATAESE is warming up and has two opponents at the same time while the injured Bogans take a stint on the side.

Our first announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 72: BEST IN BATTLE III FINALS is a CARNIVAL OF CARNAGE HOUSE OF FUN MATCH featuring the debut of POGO THE CLOWN versus BARRY LUCKY O’LEARY!

YES – LUCKY O’LEARY is committing to this match up while still defending his BEST IN BATTLE II crown! No stranger to wrestling multiple times in one night, LUCKY has had enough of the taunts from POGO THE CLOWN who has now cost him the BCW Battle Express Championship and now wants to end THE CLOWN once and for all!

Conversely POGO THE CLOWN is an unknown commodity, nefarious as he is devious, an entity that has chosen LUCKY O’LEARY for destruction. So far POGO has been successful and now he imagines up the CARNIVAL OF CARNAGE HOUSE OF FUN MATCH!

What are the rules? There are none! HOWEVER - there will be two walls of steel surrounding the ring with an array of weapons that can be used without consequence until there is one winner by either pinfall, submission or KO!

Our next match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 71: BEST IN BATTLE III OPENING ROUND is a BEST IN BATTLE III RESERVE MATCH featuring GABRIEL WOLFE and EL NEGATIVO!

The winner of this match will be the official reserve for the BEST IN BATTLE III TOURNAMENT, who may be inserted at any point during the TOURNAMENT in the event of injury.

GABRIEL WOLFE is coming off a LUCHA LIBRE TRIOS TOURNAMENT victory alongside Famous B and Levi Nixon, and he will consider himself unlucky not to be part of the main draw, given his background as a one-time BCW Heavyweight Champion, a one-time BCW Tag Team Champion and the 2019 Battle Rumble Winner.

Conversely EL NEGATIVO burst onto the scene last month as he filled in for Krackerjak and teamed with Gore to defend the BCW Tag Team Championships against LA REAL FAMILIA, before a car crash affair the following night in a six-man LUCHA LIBRE EXTREMA match.

These two combatants are dark horses within the entire TOURNAMENT and may find themselves being crowned BEST IN BATTLE III CHAMPION if the opportunity arises!

On Friday 24 July 2026 – will GABRIEL WOLFE become the BEST IN BATTLE III RESERVE OR will EL NEGATIVO achieve this opportunity and wave the flag for Mexico?

Our fourth match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 71: BEST IN BATTLE III OPENING ROUND is a ROUND 1 MATCH featuring the 2024 BEST IN BATTLE CHAMPION THE RAPSCALLION MICK MORETTI and one third of the LUCHA LIBRE TRIOS TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS, LEVI NIXON!

MORETTI has not seen the inside of the Battle Kingdom since BEST IN BATTLE II where he finished Runner-Up behind Lucky O’Leary a year post-winning the inaugural BEST IN BATTLE in 2024.
