🏉 SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS 7s WRAP-UP 🏉

A massive day of rugby and a great day for the Bowral Blacks at the Southern Highlands 7s!

Our Men’s side faced some seriously tough opposition, coming up against quality, internationally recognised sides across their three matches. While the results didn’t fall our way, the boys competed hard and represented the club proudly throughout the day.

Our Colts had a brilliant tournament, winning 2 of their 3 pool games before fighting their way through to the Grand Final. They ultimately went down to a quality Cavaliers outfit, but making the GF was a fantastic effort and something the boys should be extremely proud of. 👏

Our U17s were valiant all day, picking up 1 win from their 3 pool games and narrowly missing out on progressing to the finals. A great experience for the young Blacks and plenty to build on!

Most importantly, it was another fantastic day for our club and the wider rugby community.

A massive thank you to Bryce Wellman, Kirralee Blake, Andrew Strode and the entire committee for the enormous amount of work that went into putting together such a successful tournament.

And of course, thank you to all the people behind the scenes who made the day possible — referees, medical staff, game-day officials, volunteers, coaches, managers, supporters and everyone who gave up their time to help out.

Days like these don’t happen without a huge team effort.

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported the Southern Highlands 7s. Until next year! 🏉🖤
