For the first time in 7 years, Bowral Blacks First Grade are back playing finals rugby!

This Sunday, the boys head to Nowra Rugby Park to take on Kiama with everything on the line.

After a long season, the moment we’ve been working towards has arrived!

This weekend, 1st Grade take on Kiama in the Semi-Final at Shoalhaven Rugby Club and it’s a BIG one!

It’s been a long wait for the Blacks 1st Grade making the finals for the first time since 2019!

Now we need YOU!

Get down to Shoalhaven, get behind the boys. Every bit of support from the sideline will make a difference as we fight for a spot in the Grand Final!

We’re incredibly excited to officially kick off the Bowral Blacks All Abilities Rugby Team with our first Open Day!

📅 Saturday 17th October 2026
📍 Bowral Rugby Club – Eridge Park
⏰ 11am-1pm

The day is open to anyone of any age, gender or ability — juniors and seniors are all welcome. Come down, have a go and enjoy a fun, inclusive introduction to rugby with games and drills designed for everyone.

👕 Every registered player will receive a FREE Bowral Blacks All Abilities training shirt and shorts!

The bar and BBQ will be running, so bring the whole family along and make a day of it.

🚐 Need help getting there? Transport to and from the club can be arranged — just mention it when you RSVP.

This will help us gauge numbers for drill sizes and kit orders!

Whether you’ve played rugby before or have never picked up a ball, we’d love to have you involved.

This weekend, we’re heading to Shoalhaven for our final round games of the season!

It’s a big one for the Blacks, with 1st Grade already securing their place in the finals and looking to finish the regular season strongly and build some momentum heading into the playoffs.

For 2nd Grade, it’s their final game of the season, and the boys will be looking to finish on a high and put in a strong performance to round out the year. 💪

TEAM LISTS ARE IN! 🖤💛

We’re on the road this weekend as we head to Saunders Oval to take on Tech Tahs in Round 15.

With finals edging closer, every game is important, and both grades will be looking to continue building momentum with another strong performance.

It’s also Wollongong Tech Waratahs RUFC Ladies Day, so we’d love to see plenty of our own ladies make the trip down to enjoy the day and get behind the Blacks. It should be a great atmosphere both on and off the field!
