Don't forget folks, one of my medieval combat classes is held here in Caboolture on Thursdays, new time of 4:15pm to 5:15pm.

If you want to get better at fighting in any discipline, looking for some activity, historic fighting or just a way to socialize with other medievalists, come along and join in. There is a $5 fee to cover costs and I teach everything medieval combat related. All ages, male or female.

Had a new class start up a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd better publish some info here regarding the new class. It is a Thursday morning class ideal for shift workers and for mum's and dad's looking for an activity after the kids have been dropped at school.

Sorry about not posting here as often as I should folks, I'll try to remedy that. In the meantime an important post:

I am dropping back to one class a week again for a short while; have some family commitments that need to be seen too and still being short of one instructor means it's my best option. The Wednesday arvo class will now be the only one again for a while, being the most popular. Hopefully it will only be a short term set back and we'll be back into two classes a week soon with a third starting in 2017. Thanks for your patience and continued support!

After the Easter break Raptor Elite will be offering up to 5 training sessions a week. They will include mid morning sessions, afternoon sessions and evening sessions. This is ideal for people who work varying hours, students and retirees.

We’ve been waiting for the whole year and now it is just a few months to the main HMB-event of the world.
This year we will raise both championship and festival on a new level.

There will be following categories:

- «Duel» 1 vs 1
- «Polearm» 1 vs 1
- Experimental category - female «Group battles» 3 vs 3
- Male «Group battles» 5 vs 5
- «Mass battles» 21 vs 21
- Friendly buhurts “All vs All”

For civilians and fighter’s families there will be lots of activities:

- Authentic camp where you can see the medieval way of life
- Carftsmen fair where you can purchase medieval pottery, jewellery, clothes and souvenirs - you can find here anything to fit your taste
- Medieval musicians, sword mastery and archery workshops along with safe swords fighting for your kids

We'll be taking a well earned break from training for the rest of the year. I would like to say thank you to all who have attended in 2015, you have been a real pleasure to teach and to talk with. I hope to see you all back in 2016. Some of you have expressed interest in Living History and other activities and I'd like to invite you all to come and hang out at one of Eslite d'Corps archery sessions, held every Sunday, even over the holidays.
