Special guest down at Xtreme Gym Boxing Burpengary this week, Elijah Ansell dropped in to show some of our up and coming boxers the Sunshine Coast Middleweight Title belt he won last weekend up at Mark Evans 's show. A tribute to the hard work and dedication Elijah's put in to his training over the past years. It's young blokes like this that make boxing coaches realise why we do what we do. Credit to the work Joe Kunst has put into his development. Well done gentlemen!!

This Saturday June 1st get up to the Bribie Island Hotel to cheer on these 3 good looking roosters as they compete against some of the best boxers in Qld and interstate at this year's ABC Golden Gloves.Elijah Ansell, Joseph Broadhurst and Jayden Tripp will do themselves, their families and Xtreme Gym Boxing Burpengary proud come this weekend. All 3 have had a great training camp leading up to the Golden Gloves and will make names for themselves in one of the biggest days of boxing in Qld this year put on by The Australian Boxing Council and Dwayne Tindall and the BodyShot Boxing Club. 1st fight at 11am. Our 3 boxers are fights 26, 28 and 43 out of 65 bouts!!

This sort of support helps us help people of all ages, but especially the young peps, realise what they're capable of in life and achieve goals that they may not have thought possible which has been our mission since we started 25yrs ago. So I let my boxing brain override my heart and chucked a tenner on Fundora...I honestly thought his style would upset Tszyu. That's my official scorecard from the Redcliffe Tavern...wasn't far off the official decision. Also had a pair of blokes who trained with Xtreme Gym Boxing years ago come up last night, politely introduce themselves and thank me and the Xtreme team for what Xtreme Gym Boxing did for them and how we've changed their lives!! It's moments like that, that make you realise why sports coaches do what we do..and it's certainly not for money....it's for people who's lives we've changed for the better. Thank u gents..u made my weekend...that and seeing Zarafa put on his arse by a 41yr old...happy days.
