That weathered timber structure looming behind the trees says something about the kind of places this setup can reach. Ford Everest paired with one of ours, parked on a dirt track where the forest closes in and the golden light filters through like it knows something you don't. That's the whole idea, really. Built here in Pakenham for thirty-odd years, every Golf that rolls out is made to handle what Australia throws at it. Unsealed roads, rough country, the slow crawl toward somewhere quiet. Not flashy about it. Just solid.
