NOT ALL LEARNING LOOKS BUSY 👀

🧡 Before a child tries, they may watch
💙 Before they join, they may observe
💛 While they are watching, they are learning

As a parent we often feel pressured to make them participate because we’ve paid for the lesson, they did it last week, the other kids are doing it….

Taking time to observe and transition is just as important for their learning, even if you’re late for a lesson.

And especially in an aquatic environment, where they need to be aware and feel secure in their surroundings for their own safety.

Take a breath, follow their lead with us and and let the magic of learning happen in their time.

Have you noticed something a little different about our feed lately?

After listening to the growing voices in our Swimtikes community, we are following the lead of our swimming friends at fishnflipsupperkedron and taking a more considerate approach to what we post as part of our ongoing commitment to the safety, privacy and wellbeing of our tikelets.

Our goal is to keep sharing the special little moments that make lessons at Swimtikes memorable, while protecting our tikelets in a ever-changing digital world.

This will be a progressive space as we work through these changes across our digital platforms, printed media and historical digital footprint.

We appreciate your support as always as we navigate together this space.

😍 THREE YEARS IN A ROW 😍

Good things come in 3s right?
⭐️ 3 years of being a finalist in the Local Business Awards
⭐️ 12 years of Swimtikes Family Swim School
⭐️ 21 years our staff have been teaching swimming and water safety in the Moreton Bay Area

We are so grateful for our swimming families and wider community for believing in what we do yet again to help us through the first round of the Local Business Awards, and be a finalist for the third consecutive year, since the award’s inception in Moreton Bay. On to the second round where we are judged against specific criteria against other outstanding finalists in our category.

Shoutout to all the other amazing local businesses who’ve been announced as finalists too! Congratulations 🎉

Well this was an amazing way to start the week!

Over the weekend the annual Roar Awards were held, where Swimtikes was a finalist in 4 categories nationally. We are so excited to announce that we were recognized with;

🥉 Best in Community Impact

We are so incredibly greatful to Roar Success for giving us a platform to share what we do, to our beyond amazing staff for all they do and our wonderful families for always supporting us.
