Our Miss Kristy needs our help to get one of our first Swimtikes babies to Nationals!

Her eldest daughter Izzy has qualified to represent Queensland at the upcoming National titles in a few weeks.

Thanks to some incredible local businesses including Iron House Fitness, Unspoken Skin & Brows, , Gather and Feast, Mel's Magical Cupcakes, Holly Blooms, Renee Brown Photography and Chasing Oso, there are amazing prizes to be won!

For the past few years, we’ve been proud to stand alongside some of the best in our industry as finalists, including outstanding and award winning swim schools in their own right like Swim Experts and Let's Swim Swim School.

To now be named the 2026 Australian Small Business Champion Awards- Swim School Winner…. We’re blown away!

These moments are special, but they are never about a single entry or result.

They reflect the families who trust us each week, every tikelet who shows up, tries new things and strengthens their skills, and most importantly the team behind it all and the standards they hold themselves to every single day.

We’re incredibly grateful to Steve Loe and the Precedent Productions team for creating opportunities like this to recognize small businesses on a national stage.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to KitKat during this difficult time.

We understand this is a challenging period — and can empathise, as we are currently facing a situation of our own.

Due to the electricity rebate ending, we can no longer afford to heat the pool.

As a result, we have consulted with our local Poolwerx Burpengary who have assured us replacing the water with KitKats is both sanitary and cost-effective.

We didn’t ask too many follow-up questions and understand this may raise further questions…

On a completely unrelated note, we don’t take breaks for school holidays. We just changed what they look like.

See you all from Tuesday 😉

🐣💛 Happy Easter, Swimtikes families 💛🐣

Wishing you a beautiful Easter filled with sunshine and quality time together ☀️

As you enjoy the long weekend — whether you’re poolside, beachside, or travelling — it’s a great time to gently revisit water safety with your little ones:

💙 Active supervision, always within arm’s reach (yes that means getting in the water with them and not relying on floatation devices or an older child to assist them- we know 😉)
💙 Safe entries and exits
💙 Taking turns and waiting for the cue to enter the water, even when jumping from the side continuously
💙 Never breaking your line of site with your child around water (getting up to get the towel you forgot, sending a text, turning to talk to someone next to you)

The best safety habits are the ones we practise consistently — even outside of lessons.

We’re so grateful to have you as part of our community, and we can’t wait to see our swimmers back in the water soon 🏊‍♀️✨
