We had the absolute pleasure of giving Mama Mayhem life time membership to Mildura Roller Derby League last weekend at our first game day of the year.

Honestly, where would we be without her? Mayhem is the mastermind who formed Team regional Victoria - TRV. Providing our full contact skaters opportunity to hit the track for regular games and grow as players

She also kicked off our Skate Programme, which is where so many of us took our very first shaky steps and fell in love with skating.

Lets not forget the endless hours of planning and coaching to the literal blood, sweat, and tears she’s poured into training over the many years.

She helped build this community from the ground up.

Mayhem, thank you for being our mentor, our leader, and our biggest inspiration. This is so incredibly deserved!

What a way to kick off the Mildura Roller Derby League 2026 Scrimmage Season season yesterday!

The energy in the venue was unreal, and we’re so grateful to our amazing community for showing up, cheering loud, and supporting local sport. Your support means everything and helps keep roller derby thriving in our region.

Massive thanks to Murder City Roller Derby and Rockabellas Roller Derby League for making the trip across from SA to officiate and play. We appreciate the time, effort, and commitment it takes to travel, and we loved having you here.

We were also excited to host juniors from Warrnambool Roller Derby League and to welcome Dragon City Roller Derby to Mildura. Thanks for travelling to be part of the day — we hope to see you back again soon!

Extra special thanks to every single person who helped make the day happen behind the scenes — officials, NSOs, announcers, volunteers, bake sale legends, set up crew, pack up crew, and everyone who gave their time and energy to support the event. Roller derby doesn’t happen without you.

Seniors started term 2 strong. Fast feet and lots of edge work!!

They may have had two weeks of eating Easter eggs and lie-ins but our juniors didn't miss a beat at our first training session for term 2. The foot work was sharp and the blocking was strong!!

Big weekend on the road for Honey Bee, Donkey Kong & Bearemy 🔥

After battling it out in Adelaide on Saturday, they turned around and hit the highway again Sunday to take the track in Bendigo for Dragon City Roller Derby’s home games. No rest, just grit & maybe a little fun level of insanity 😵‍💫❤️

Massive shoutout to Bearemy, who stepped up into his first higher contact game — and absolutely owned the moment. Courage, composure, and a willingness to learn… this is what growth looks like 💪

We’re incredibly grateful to DCRD for creating opportunities like this. Supporting skaters to challenge themselves, develop their game, and build connections across leagues is what keeps our sport strong.

Kicking off our 2026 season across the border in SA with Rockabellas Roller Derby League and what a way to start 🔥

Our juniors came ready to shine 💜💚
Demolition, Tigress & ThumpHer hit the track with confidence, grit and serious skill.

We love seeing the growth, determination and fire from these skaters. The future is looking STRONG 💪

Our senior crew Mama Mayhem, Honey Bee, Pins and Needles & Donkey Kong pulled on the purple for Prim Reapers and delivered a hard-fought, high-energy game. Doomsday Rollers took the win, but we absolutely made them earn it — and had a blast doing it.

Huge shoutout to Honey Bee for taking out the Coaches Award for keeping the energy high and the vibes even higher 💜✨

Massive thanks to everyone who made the weekend happen — teammates, officials, volunteers, organisers, and supporters. We appreciate you more than you know.
