The 2014 Junior Heat U16 Girls and U16 Boys teams were the last two Heat squads to claim a Victorian Country Championship title… since this year’s U12 superstars!

The victorious U16 Girls were coached by Ian Sandiman and the U16 Boys by Tony Jones. Winning both championships in the same year was an outstanding achievement and a testament to the talent, hard work and dedication of everyone involved.

A huge congratulations to this memorable group and to our current U12 champions for adding another chapter to Heat history! 🔥🏆

Early bird registrations for the U12 Country Skills Days are now open!

The 2026 Country Skills Days will be held on Saturday 25th July and Sunday 26th July at 10 regional academies across Victoria.

These Skill Day events are part of a development program for players of all abilities and standards from all associations located in regional Victoria. This will be an opportunity for identified athletes to be selected to participate in the U12 Country Jamboree in Echuca in September!

🔥Our ProAdvance Mildura Junior Heat U12 Girls have wrapped up their remarkable season with a 24-point victory over Nunawading in this morning’s NJC Position 9/10 Playoff Grand Final.

Winning 4 of 6 games and placing 9th on the National stage is an incredible achievement which the entire Mildura community are very proud of!

A huge thank you to Head Coach Calvin Henry and Assistant Coach Lachlan Knight for their outstanding leadership, guidance and dedication throughout the season. Congratulations also to every player for their commitment, hard work, resilience and growth, and to Team Manager Alana Mills for keeping the team organised, prepared and ready to compete every step of the way.

An unforgettable season. Take a bow, Team Henry! 👏👏👏
