SING AWAY, SARAH! MEET THE DESERVING WINNER OF OUR FREE YEAR MEMBERSHIP GIVEAWAY...

Sarah moved to Australia from England nearly 12 years ago and has called the Sunshine Coast home ever since. After previously being a regular at a local gym with her first two children, her own health and fitness took a back seat when her third child, Hattie, was born with a condition so rare it doesn't have a name.

With the last two years spent in hospitals, helping Hattie go through surgeries, and attending countless appointments, a gym membership simply became out of reach.

That is why it's a heartfelt privilege for us at Stepz Fitness Burnside to announce Sarah as the deserving winner of our 1 Year Free Membership promotion 😀
A HUGE thank you to ALL who entered and took the time to share their stories with us. We were deeply humbled and touched by people's honesty.

Sarah is now looking forward to getting back into regular training — not just for her physical health, but as a chance to rediscover a part of herself and have a place to train, laugh, connect with others and start her days on the right foot.

With a background in musical theatre, she has warned us she finds it difficult not to sing away to whatever's playing in the gym!

THE BURNSIDE BRIGADE'S BIGWIGS FOR AUGUST!!

Winter is supposed to be the season for hibernation… apparently nobody told these guys!

A huge congratulations to our most frequent members from last month. 👏

Leading the way was Merv, who somehow managed to take his visits from an already mind-blowing 36 all the way up to 39! 🤯

And we love seeing Matthew and Flynn Willis both making the list. Father and son, training side by side and setting the standard for what a fit family looks like. 👊

These aren't just numbers on a leaderboard. They're 20+ decisions to show up. They're early mornings, busy days, cold starts and choosing to make training a priority.

That's what consistency looks like.

Well done to everyone who made the list — and to everyone who walked through our doors last month and got a session done.

Keep showing up. Keep getting better. 🏆

KETTLEBELL YEAH!! 💪 STANDOUT STEPZ STAFF!!

Last weekend our Stepz Stalwart Jon represented Queensland at the GSAA and Queensland Kettlebell Sport State of Origin competition. Yep. He’s the real deal.

We tip our orange cap to you, Jon, and congratulations on cracking a Personal Best on the day too!

You can join Jon (autographs on request) in one of the many group fitness classes he leads here, or let him show you the Way of the Kettlebell with a one-on-one PT session.

That’s one kettlebell of a job!

From Queen’s “We Will Rock You” warm-up to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” cool-down, the brigade absolutely BROUGHT IT! 🔥

Congrats to Hayley and Savannah for looking like they stepped straight out of a Jane Fonda workout video and winning TWO WEEKS FREE! 🥳
