The Snakes have men's and women's programs and are focused on making a positive difference in our local Richmond community. Our club is proud to field three men's teams, two women's team and scope for further growth into the future. We represent the vibrance of our local Richmond community and have welcomed Snakes from across Australia and the world.

t’s been one helluva season for the Snakes and it’s time to celebrate the best of the best!

Help us finish the vote counts, crown our B&Fs, reward our big kickers and cheer on our most improved players. We’ll kick it off from 7pm at The Bridge Hotel on Thursday 24 September 🐍

Our Reserves kicked off a big Saturday for the Snakes against close competitors Wattle Park. After some close matches throughout the season, it was anyone’s game, and that was no different on the weekend. Well done to our Reserves who held on and successfully secured their third premiership in a row!

The Seniors were faced with quite the challenge coming up against a strong Wattle Park. Despite their best efforts they couldn’t quite get it done. They left it all out on the field and we’re incredibly proud of the season they had.

A big season for the Snakes continues this Saturday as both the Men’s Seniors and Reserves face Wattle Park in the Division 3 Grand Finals at Sir Doug Nicholls Reserve.

The Seniors haven’t been to the big dance since 2014 and they’re hungrier than ever to get the job done, while the Reserves have a chance at a three-peat.

Win. Win. Win. Three massive wins for the Snakes last weekend, starting with our Senior Women securing the flag with a Grand Final win over De La Salle, to cap off a fantastic Premiership Double.

Our Senior and Reserve Men both booked their places in this weekend’s Grand Finals, with wins over local rivals Hawthorn. The Reserves came out on top after a thrilling arm wrestle, while our Senior Men enjoyed a commanding win. Both face off against Wattle Park on Saturday, full of confidence and looking to bring home 2 more flags to Kevin Bartlett Reserve.

Get around it Snakes! This Sunday at 9:20am we’ve got a prime time Grand Final for our Senior Women, who’ll take on De La Salle for the top prize. Then, the Men’s Seniors and Reserves both take on Hawthorn in knock-out prelims to book their spot in the big dance.

We’re all together at Marcellin College. We’ve all got nothing to lose. Get in there and make some noise for the yellow and black 🐍

ICYMI… our Senior Women beat Old Camberwell to secure themselves a spot in the grand final this weekend! A massive effort from our Women who have worked hard all season to get here.

The Senior and Reserves Mens finals campaign continues after two convincing wins over Albert Park and La Trobe. Nothing could stop the Snakes last weekend and we look forward to continuing the success in the next round of finals - stay tuned 🐍
