A fantastic night at the NW Youth Dinner & Awards Night. A wonderful way to end the season. Congratulations to all our award recipients and players for a great year. Thanks to the organisers of the evening, the coaches for their dedication to these awesome young players, and most importantly to all our parents for your ongoing support. See you all back in 2027.

Please note the change in date. Now being held on Friday night to allow for more coaches and players to attend. The Launceston Cup is on this weekend so having it on the Friday allows them to come along to the Vote Count.

Cracking day yesterday for the last game of the season. Down the road to Riverside. A memorable bus trip, some very good football played throughout the day and win for our senior men. Thanks to all our supporters, especially our women's team who despite not playing themselves travelled up to Launceston, your support and cheering was certainly appreciated. Thank you also to Riverside Olympic Football Club for hosting us and for providing food for our players after our games. Great to see Nico score his first goal for the seniors ending the season in style. We wish you could stay in Tassie next year instead of heading home to Switzerland. Hope to see you return again one day. What a great way to finish the season.

PLEASE BE AWARE Tickets to the event this year are very limited and WILL sell out quickly. There will be no extra seats available on the night. You must have a ticket to get in the door. Once we reach our quota, numbers are final. Purchase your seat early to avoid any disappointment.

A windy day today at Montello. A great 2-1 win for our Burnie Women's team in their final game of the season. However, the day belonged to Mel Quirk. After a long-playing career spanning over 30+ years, today she courageously player her final game of football, calling an end to an amazing career. Very few have played for so long and done more for promoting women in football. We are extremely proud of Mel... a role model, an ambassador for our great game and our great friend. Congratulations Mel from all at Burnie United FC.
