The Burnie Golf Club enjoys a rich history with many long serving members. The club is renowned for its welcoming bar and facilities and is regularly frequented by members and guests. However the club isn't known purely for its social offerings, the course is one of the most challenging tracks on the North West Coast. A combination of length, undulations, tight driving holes and tricky greens give the members a real home ground advantage come pennant time.

After consultation with our green keeping staff and committee members, the course will remain closed to carts until at least Monday.

After consultation with our Green Keeping Staff and Sports Committee, it's with regret we keep carts suspended from the course. We will see what tomorrow's weather brings and make a determination for the weekend by tomorrow afternoon. Those choosing to walk, please be advised greens, tee beds or fairways have not had any machinery on them since Monday of this week. We are hoping to double cut the greens tomorrow, should weather allow. Thank you for your understanding. ⛳️🙏

Carts will be allowed back on the course as of tomorrow, Friday. All cart drivers please stay on the paths and tree lines. These precautions are to protect the course and give us the best opportunity to continue to play with little impact during the winter months. We had a huge 90mm+ in 4 days.
