🤸 Community Sport Spotlight ✨
For more than 30 years, Zodiacs Gymnastics Club has been creating opportunities for people across Burnie and the North West Coast to get involved in gymnastics.
With more than 300 regular members, Zodiacs caters for all ages and abilities - from little ones taking their first steps into gymnastics through to senior athletes competing at state, national, and international levels.
But Zodiacs is about much more than gymnastics. It’s a place where people can build confidence, resilience, and friendships, while families, coaches and volunteers come together as a community.
The club has also celebrated some incredible achievements, including senior gymnast Grace Gaby becoming the first female gymnast from Tasmania selected to represent Australia, while the club's athlete-centred coaching approach has also been recognised nationally.
From recreational programs and school activities to competitive pathways, Zodiacs continues to create opportunities for people of all ages to be active, challenge themselves and feel like they belong.
Clubs like Zodiacs are helping build the active, connected, and inclusive community at the heart of our Making a Better Burnie 2044 vision.
