OSU well done to both my students Seth and Blake representing Burnie Chikara Kyokushin today. You both did the Dojo proud getting 1st place and receiving Gold Medals!
A special thank you to Michele Sensei for putting on a fantastic tournament and for Shotokan Tasmania for inviting us to compete.
This is the true spirit of karate for all karateka of different disciplines to come together as a martial arts community and free of politics and ego.

A must read book on The Blue eyed Samarui Nicholas Pettas a fantastic book I'm sure all karateka from what ever discipline can well and truly appreciate and get something from it.

📢 OSU just a reminder there will be no normal class training over this weekend end both Saturday and Sunday except for the students grading on the Saturday starting from 12 pm.
Everyone welcome from the dojo to come along and support them through it.
Will be a big day for them finishing up around 2 for the kumite required.
This Thursday night class will still be going also.
