Today, on ANZAC Day, our club pauses to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of all those who have served our country.

We reflect on the values that define this day — mateship, resilience, and respect — values that resonate deeply within our cricket community both on and off the field.

As we come together, whether in silence, at the club, or with loved ones, we acknowledge the legacy left by those who came before us and the freedoms we enjoy because of their service.

Here we are the final weekly wrap up of the season and this one is by far the best because we’ve brought another flag to The Hive

Congratulations to our C Grade lads on a brilliant win with Dan Fry ripping through the Eaton batting order taking an incredible 6/38 in a Grand Final absolutely amazing

Great captains knock from Tim Gilotti followed by Nathan “fastest hands in the west” King finishing the game with his trademark flick to win the game

Some great contributions from Nick Tyrrell and Archer King with the bat to help get us closer to chasing down the target to setup a fairytale finish

Massive thank you to Billy Day and Sam Gibbs for running water out to us on the field after ever wicket whilst we were in the field and every few overs when we were batting absolute legends and on a day as hot as Saturday was we couldn’t thank you boys enough

Thank you to everyone who came down and cheered the lads on and helped get us over the line

Thank you to Sam Grime for capturing the game with some amazing photography absolutely amazing job mate

And lastly a huge thank you to all of our sponsors for your continued support of our amazing club and we are so happy to have you all on board we couldn’t do it without you

Also we followed tradition of the flag hanging in the country club this year done by Archer King unfortunately Gossy’s shoulders were a bit sore so we couldn’t replicate the photo of Gossy holding up Archer’s older brother Henry to hang it so had to break out the step ladder
