📣 Helmet Compliance Reminder for Members ⛑️
New helmet compliance requirements which will take effect January 1, 2027.
Now is a great time to make sure your next purchase meets the updated standards and will remain compliant for future competition.
✅ Effective January 1, 2027: Helmets must meet one of the accepted certification standards listed in the attached flyer.
📅 Our recommendation: Don't wait until the last minute. Check the certification labels inside your current helmet, review the attached chart, and make a plan for replacement if needed. Purchasing a helmet that meets the newer standards now can help ensure you remain compliant for years to come.
Safety is always the top priority, and staying informed about these changes will help make the transition smooth for everyone.
Please review the attached flyer for details. 🐴⛑️
Remember! Even if there is no visible damage, helmets that have sustained a significant impact must be replaced immediately, as they may not adequately absorb a second impact.
⚠️ Member Responsibility: It is each member’s responsibility to ensure that their helmet meets the applicable standards and compliance requirements prior to competition.
