It's moments like these that make me love what I do and know that I'm making a difference! My regular trip to cooma was full of surprises with 14 degree weather (felt like 4 degrees) and some cute and cuddly ponies. Let's just say the shorts that I packed to wear definitely stayed in the car as we braved the cold and blistering weather to ensure that my four legged friends enjoyed their massages even if we nearly got blown away. Here below are some of my clients enjoying the benefits of the massages. Leroy learning into the rub, quays (brown) taking in the benefits of being nearby and Herbies post massage sleep to let all of the magic we created sink in!

One very happy customer today! After his first proper breeding season this stud loved a good massage before packing his rugs and going to the trainer for a little while. Throwers Stud Dancing Shoes aka Bruno is the resident sire at the Discover Stock Horse Stud. I may be a little biased but he is one handsome looking fella.
I'm sure there are some other stallion owners out there that would love to treat their main man to a massage after getting the job done for the last couple of exhausting months. Contact me today to book a session.

And that's a wrap!
What a day I have had down in the beautiful town of Bunyan (Cooma). Today I went to visit and old client who moved down to Cooma with her gorgeous family of the two legged and four legged variety. I saw 6 horses today that ranged from 13hh through to 17hh, from riding pony, stock horse through to warmblood. My day started with one of my favourite main man's, Herbie the giant! Herbie and I go way back to the days in Canberra with our love hate relationship. He has the most sweetest personality but he will also always let me know when I find a sore spot, with the slight over dramatic response sometimes! He obviously rembered me by the end but the beginning was very interesting this time round!
I then moved on to some new clients, some took a little warming into it with some trust needed first but all finished with a lot of releases and relaxation shown throughout their bodies.
I'd just like to say that these lovely ladies all do an amazing job with their four legged babies. Not all of these horses are in work as they have had a hard start to life and are currently moving forward with weight and trust. But they are still willing to share the love with these beauties and there is no better way then to give them a relaxing massage. Not all body work has to be done because they are showing signs of soreness, sometimes it is a fantastic way to show love and appreciation to your fury babies!

Post foaling massages! Yes it's a thing

Foaling season is here and there are lots of foals out there who would love a scratch. But more importantly those broodmares (just like human mums) are often stiff and sore after foaling! We don't massage mares whilst in foal just in case we trigger labour however they often really appreciate a massage afterwards.

Capital Equine is here for your horses every needs. We aim to help your horse train harder, perform better and recover quicker!

Our treatment contains assessment on arrival, sports therapy massage, red light therapy if needed, all tied together with a whole body stretch. A session usually takes 45 mins but can take up to an hour pending on your horses needs!

Massage can help to reduce your horses susceptibility to injury as well as to improve their performance. Throughout the session I will be working to reduce pain or tension that your horse may have, which will result in a greater range of motion and increased flexibility. I will also be able to suggest conditioning exercises and stretches that will aid your horses development to improve strength and flexibility.

Capital Equine services all parts of ACT and surrounds. Sessions are $70 per horse, discounts available for multiple horses in one visit. Travel charges may apply.
