290 Childs road, Mill Park VIC 3082.
(Parking available at Stables shopping centre next door)

Burial @ 3pm at Yan Yean Cemetery,
2265 Plenty Road, Yan Yean VIC 3755.

It is with a great sadness that we share the news of Dion Fernando's passing. He was a valued member of our cricket family and he will be missed. May he rest in peace.

The GCC is saddened to learn of the sudden passing of our 3rd XI captain Dion Fernando.

Dion will always be remembered for his enthusiasm and excitement he brought to his cricket. Typified when he was approached to lead the 3rd XI this season. Dion jumped into the role and delivered a breakthrough win for the team as recent as this weekend.

Our thoughts are with the Fernando family during this incredibly difficult time.

The Club will be holding a forum 7pm tonight at War Memorial Park Clubrooms. A professional counsellor from Converge International will be in attendance. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

With the assistance of Converge International, Greensborough Cricket Club will be setting up communication channels for those that need further assistance processing this news. This will be made available for the whole GCC community (Players, Supporters and Families).
