What a wonderful weekend of polo at Tamarang.

Tamarang Polo Club would like to sincerely thank all of the players, patrons, spectators, sponsors, volunteers, officials, grooms and supporters who helped make our 2026 Annual Tournament such a success.

Congratulations to Scone, winners of the Stuart McKellar Memorial Trophy; Quirindi, winners of the John Ferguson Memorial Trophy; and Kandoo, winners of the President’s Trophy.

We also congratulate all of our individual trophy and special award recipients. There were some outstanding performances from both horse and rider across the weekend, and it was particularly special to recognise the people, ponies and club members who contribute so much to Tamarang and country polo.

A very special thank you must go to Ainsley Saddlery for their generous support of the tournament and for providing the MVP and Most Outstanding Horseman or Horsewoman awards, won by Isla Railton and Alex Barnett respectively.

To everyone who helped behind the scenes — preparing fields, running the bar, manning the goals, umpiring, grooming, organising horses, trophies, food and everything else that goes into putting on a tournament — thank you. Weekends like this simply don’t happen without an enormous team effort.

Congratulations again to all of our winners, and thank you for being part of another memorable Tamarang Polo Club tournament.

Tamarang Polo Club looks forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow for the final day of our annual tournament.

Tamarang Polo Club is looking forward to welcoming patrons, players, families and spectators to the grounds this weekend for our highly anticipated Annual Tournament.

With two days of competitive country polo ahead, we invite everyone to come along, settle in on the sidelines and enjoy a great weekend of polo and country hospitality.

Lunch and refreshments will be available for purchase from 12pm on both Saturday and Sunday, or you are very welcome to pack your own picnic, bring a rug or chairs and find a spot on the sidelines to enjoy the action.

Following Saturday’s play, the Tamarang Committee warmly invites all players, supporters and guests to join us for our Saturday Evening Welcome Dinner, commencing at 6pm, with catering provided by Pronto Catering. The bar will be open late, so we hope you’ll stay on and enjoy the evening with us.

There will be plenty to play for across the weekend, with two of Tamarang’s much-valued pieces of silverware up for contention:

A Grade – Stuart McKellar Memorial Trophy
B Grade – John Ferguson Memorial Trophy

We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors and all those who continue to support Tamarang Polo Club and make weekends such as this possible.
