πŸ₯Š Men of Bundy – What a Great Night! πŸ₯Š
A huge thank you to the 24 men who came along and made the evening such a success. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved in the activities, team challenges, and open discussions.
A special thank you to The Y School for providing such an amazing venue and creating a welcoming space for the event.
We also want to acknowledge David Facer from Brave Brothers for sharing his knowledge and leading thought-provoking conversations around Respectful Relationships and the role we can all play in building stronger, healthier communities.
A big thank you also to Matt A'Bell and the team from Let Hope Arise for providing a great feed and making sure no one went home hungry.
Community events like these are built on connection, support, and the willingness of good men to show up for each other. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make Men of Bundy a positive, inspiring, and memorable evening. We can't wait to do it again. πŸ’™πŸ₯ŠπŸ’ͺ

Nathan attended the Mighty Mitts Boxing and Brave Brothers event at YMCA Bundaberg 24/7 tonight.

It was great to see so many men coming together to get active, have a chat, connect with mates, and enjoy a barbecue afterwards.

Events like these are a great reminder of the importance of community, connection, and looking after both our physical and mental wellbeing.

Times are tough right now for many people. If you're doing it hard, please don't struggle alone. Reach out, have a conversation, and connect with those around you. There are some fantastic organisations, community groups, and free local events that genuinely care and are there to support you.

A big thank you to everyone involved in making the event happen. πŸ‘

Some of our amazing Mighty Mitts Warriors have their own challenges in life, but that didn’t stop them from stepping up and supporting others. Their confidence, patience, and encouragement shone through as they helped their mates and trainers navigate the blindfold obstacle course challenge. Watching them work together with trust, kindness, and determination was truly inspiring. These young people continue to show us that challenges don't define them β€” their character, resilience, and willingness to help others do. πŸ’ͺπŸ₯ŠπŸ‘

πŸ’ͺ Week 6 – Term 2 Mighty Mitts Boxing Mentoring Program πŸ’ͺ

What an awesome way to finish Term 2!

This week, our Mighty Mitts Warriors showed just how much they have grown throughout the program. Their attitude, teamwork, trust, and willingness to support each other was fantastic to see. The respect they showed one another and the effort they put into every activity made us incredibly proud.

A big thank you to all of the families who supported their children throughout the term. Your encouragement and commitment have played a huge part in making the program such a success.

The Mighty Mitts team has thoroughly enjoyed working with every young person this term. Seeing their confidence grow, friendships develop, and positive attitudes shine through has made the program incredibly rewarding for all of us.

We are already looking forward to Term 3 and can't wait to see everyone back on 22 July for another great term of learning, mentoring, fitness, and fun.

Have a safe and enjoyable break, and we'll see you all back in the gym soon! πŸ₯ŠπŸ’™πŸ’ͺπŸ₯Š

A great session at the Gin Gin Community Mighty Mitts Boxing program, with officers from the Queensland Police Service Canine Patrol Unit speaking to our engaged young Mighty Mitts warriors about their important role in the community.
The kids had the opportunity to learn about what it takes to be a Canine Patrol Officer, the special training police dogs receive, and how teamwork, discipline and respect are vital both on the job and in everyday life.
The visit created plenty of excitement, questions and smiles, giving the young people a positive connection with local police while reinforcing the values we promote through Mighty Mitts Boxing β€” respect, resilience, confidence and community.

Week 4 was an absolute cracker, with the kids and families at the Gin Gin Community Program giving it their all throughout the session. πŸ’ͺπŸ₯Š

Everyone was treated to a special visit from the Bundaberg Police Canine Unit officers, who spoke to the kids about their important role in the community, later showed their police dogs.

Mighty Mitts Boxing Facilitator Leon then threw out a challenge to the police officers and Mighty Mitts Boxing founder Hami β€” who could complete the most push-ups in 1 minute!

It was a great afternoon full of energy, laughter, positive connections, and community spirit.
