🦈 DNA AQUATICS SHARKS ARE BACK! 🦈

Our Sharks Program is designed for competent 25m swimmers who can confidently swim freestyle and backstroke and have a good understanding of the other strokes.
Sharks is all about building endurance, improving technique and developing stronger, more efficient swimmers — with the opportunity to swim multiple times each week.

🏊 Monday – Thursday
⏰ 3:30pm & 4:15pm
📍 Kepnock Pool

We’ll run a combination of Sharks levels across the earlier and later sessions depending on the day, making sure swimmers are training with the group best suited to their ability.

💦 SHARKS WEEKLY PRICING • 1 class — $20/week
• 2 classes — $27/week
• 3 classes — $29/week
⭐ Three sessions for just $29 a week!

The Sharks program is designed to encourage regular swimming — giving swimmers more time in the water to work on fitness, endurance, stroke technique and efficiency.

This isn't a DNA teacher ... But I like her explanation. I will ferociously back every single one of my teachers on my team, they are all amazing in their own unique way.

Just like every child is different and has their own personality and mannerisms ... Same for my teaching team. They are all different and brilliant swim teachers in their own way. That's what is great about DNA ... I have personally hand-picked every single person who works in my pool. Have I upset a few teachers over the years that have come through and not aligned with my culture, values and expectations? yes... and I'm ok with that. Having a teacher team that's diverse, highly skilled and driven to provide passionate aquatic education will always be of the highest importance to me. I will shut up shop before I put someone in my pool that I feel is it going to teach your child the valuable skills that you're paying for.
I've always said that I don't sell lessons, I sell lifestyle through water safety and swimming competence.
I want to give parents peace of mind and confidence around the water safety skills of their children and give children the freedom that comes with being competent, capable swimmers who are water wise.

You know you’ve got a good crew when they’re this comfortable dobbing each other in… 😂🩵

Especially when Donna can’t do payroll because SOMEONE hasn’t done their timesheet! 👆💻🤣

We work hard, laugh harder, stir each other up and genuinely enjoy being a team — and that happy energy follows us straight into the pool. 💦

And yes… Donna is VERY fussy about who becomes part of the DNA crew. 😂 Sometimes it takes us a little while to find the right person, because skills can be taught — but being the right fit for our team is something pretty special. 🩵

We’re a tight little crew, maybe even a little exclusive 😉… but don’t let that scare you off applying to join the best swim team in Bundy! 🏊‍♀️💦

🏊‍♀️ WE’RE GROWING — JOIN THE DNA AQUATICS TEAM! 🏊‍♂️

DNA Aquatics is getting ready for a busy season ahead, and we need to add more Swim Teachers to our amazing team! 💙

👉 No previous swim teaching experience? That’s okay!

We are looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people who enjoy working with children and would love to learn a new skill.

We want to start training NOW, so you have plenty of time to learn our programs, shadow our experienced teachers and build your confidence before taking on your own classes.

✨ What we offer:
• Full on-the-job training and support
• Flexible casual hours
• Morning and/or afternoon shifts available
• Work that can fit around family, study or another job
• A fun, supportive team environment
• The opportunity to gain qualifications and develop your skills

We’re getting ready for an exciting Term 4 at DNA Aquatics, and we are now taking bookings for new and returning swimmers! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

☀️ With the warmer weather on the way, Term 4 is always a fantastic time to get back into the pool, build confidence and keep those swimming skills progressing.

Our Learn to Swim and Infant Aquatics programs will continue at our beautiful warm indoor pool.

Our outdoor 25m pool will reopen for our Junior Sharks & Sharks swimmers – perfect for those ready to work on their distance, technique and fitness.

🩵 Forgotten Something for Swimming? We’ve Got You! 🩵

Parents, we know the feeling… you’ve packed the towels, swimmers, goggles, snacks, water bottle and half the house 😂 — and then realise you’ve forgotten the swim nappy! 🤦‍♀️

No stress and definitely no big deal!

If you arrive at swimming and realise you've forgotten one, just pop into the pool office and see Donna. I always keep a little supply of swim nappies on hand in Small–Medium and Medium–Large.

💙 It’s completely FREE — just a little kindness we like to offer our DNA families because we know how easy it is to forget something when you’re trying to get everyone out the door!

And a little side note… we’re pretty well prepared for those “oops!” moments! 😂 We also have spare goggles, swim caps, headbands, some spare swimwear and even a spare towel at the pool office — all available to borrow at no charge.

So please don’t stress or turn around and go home. Just come and see me and we’ll do our best to get your swimmer sorted and into their lesson. 🏊‍♀️💦

📣 When is the best time to secure your new Play On! Sports Voucher?

Applications for Play On! Sports Vouchers will open on 27 July, with up to $200 available to help Queensland kids aged from 5-17 participate in sport.

There will be two opportunities to apply this financial year.

If you’re planning ahead for summer sport, it’s best to apply this round. If your focus is on winter sports like netball or football, you may prefer to wait for the round later this financial year.
