I have some availability for 1:1 personal training with me at Growth Gyms Avoca.

If you’re ready to get stronger, feel fitter, and stay consistent with your training, this is a great chance to lock in a weekly session with full support and a personalised plan to match your goals.

What’s included:
• 1:1 45 minute session
• Weekly check-in
• Personalised training plan with app access

Available time slots:
Monday – Friday 6:30am
Wednesday & Thursday 5:30am

Am I in a cute matching set - NO
Is my hair done nice - NO
Do I have make up on - NO

Why?

I don’t go to the gym for attention. 9/10 people do not care what you wear, or what you look like.

Majority of the people in the gym with you are there to improve their physical health, they aren’t there to judge you

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good marching set but the point is it shouldn’t matter what you wear or what you look like. You can go to the gym and work on your self regardless.

You keep doing you - Don’t worry about what others think ✌️

Next Sunday the 24th Nov our 8 week hockey conditioning program kicks off

$80 per person but if multiple people from 1 family join, family rates are available

What’s included?
- 8 x in person group sessions
- 8 weeks of online programming in an app

What’s the focus?
The program willl focus on the fundamentals of hockey.
Strength, speed, power, agility & accuracy
The program will start with a testing phase to see where you’re currently at.
Each week will then have a different specific focus to dial in that area
Week 8 will end with retesting to see how much you have improved

Most (not all) 8 week challenge results are not sustainable!

Fitness challenges can be a great tool for motivation.. who doesn’t love a bit of competition against themselves (because it’s always you against you)

Unfortunately, most fitness challenges are similar to fad diets. They work short term but aren’t sustainable. Challenges are an easy tool for PT’s to get a quick income. So many people see the ‘prize’ and suddenly get motivation.

Motivation shouldn’t come from a prize- motivation should come from the want to change, the want to be better, the want to be healthier.

Isn’t living a longer, fitter, healthier, happier life better than a little prize that your sign up fee contributes too?

Fitness and dieting takes time, it takes long term habit changes that are sustainable going forward.

It’s not sustainable eating restricted food or restricted calories. Nor is sustainable working out twice per day 5/7 days per week.

Get yourself a coach - online or in person
Surround yourself with like minded people
Start making those changes 1 by 1
