Not long to go now! 😁

On the 22nd of August we'll be heading to Maryborough for Tahbyuss's first race meet to kick off the 2026/27 season. We're keen to get back trackside, have a good run and enjoy a great day of racing. Bring it on! 🤙🏁

Benson Racing Karts, Karts Stars Series announced.

Benson Racing Karts will be supporting a 4 round series to be run at Maryborough Speedway Karts with the Champion of Champion receiving a sponsored drive at the Clark Motorsports Nationals to be held on the 12th of June at Maryborough Speedway.
In a twist competitors will be able to play a Joker once during the series. This will give them double points for the round or they can play it against another competitor in their class to cancel that competitors Joker.

Series Details:
Round 1 22nd August 2026
Round 2 31st October 2026
Round 3 20th March 2027
Series Final 29th May 2027

Classes Racing Eligible for Series Prizes
Sub Junior, Junior, Junior Standard, Standard Light, Standard Heavy, Modified, 125cc NGB.
Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the end of the series.
Overall Champion of Champions trophy will be awarded at the end of the series.
Points
Each class must have a minimum of 4 drivers to be awarded points at each round.
Points will be awarded for heat races as follows:
1st 22, 2nd 19, 3rd 17, 4th 15, 5th 13, 6th 11, 7th 9, 8th 7, 9th 5, 10th 4, 11th 3, 12th 2, DNS and DNF 0.
Points will be awarded for Finals as follows:
1st 36, 2nd 28, 3rd 23, 4th 17, 5th 13, 6th 10, 7th 8, 8th 6, 9th 5, 10th 4, 11th 3, 12th 2, 13th 1, DNS and DNF 0.
50 attendance points for drivers who take the green flag at each event.

Champion of Champions
Only drivers who compete in every round of the series will be eligible for the Champion of Champions award.
Champion of Champions will be calculated by the total points (Excluding Attendance points) divided by the number of races held over the series.
eg. Total points (Heats + Finals) Divided Total number of Races (Heats + Finals)

Joker
A competitor can play their Joker by advising the series coordinator before the commencement of drivers briefing on the day of the event.
A Competitor playing the Joker for themselves will be awarded double points for that round excluding attendance points.
A competitor playing the Joker against another competitor will cancel the other competitors Joker. To cancel another competitors Joker that competitor must be playing their Joker at that round.

🏁 QUEENSLAND TITLE DATE REMINDER FOR THE 2026/27 SEASON! 🏁

The SKAA Queensland Titles will head to Carina Speedway, Bundaberg, with Bundaberg Speedway Karts proudly hosting this prestigious event.

With only a few years of racing having taken place at the Bundaberg circuit, the 2026/27 Queensland Title is set to provide an exciting challenge for competitors. Limited track time means that every lap between now and November will be invaluable as drivers fine-tune their kart set-ups in preparation for one of the biggest events on the SKAA calendar.

Our club is incredibly honoured and excited to welcome competitors, officials and supporters from across Queensland and beyond, and we’re committed to delivering a memorable event both on and off the track.

Going into the new season ahead, means starting with a new wrap for Tahbyuss's kart 🤗

A special thank you to Wayne & the team at Topline Australia for designing this cool bright wrap for T -Man. He is stoked and can't wait to put the kart back together! 🙌

What a fantastic day at the track! 🏁

For Tahbyuss's first official race meeting, we couldn't be happier with how the day unfolded. Every lap was a valuable learning experience, and he continued to build confidence and improve throughout the meeting.

Race Results:
• Heat 1: Started 6th, finished 7th
• Heat 2: Started 8th, finished 8th
• Heat 3: Started 7th, finished 7th
• Feature Race: Started 7th, finished 6th

While the results are only part of the story, we're incredibly proud of the way Tahbyuss conducted himself on the track. At this stage, it's all about learning, gaining experience, and finding what feels right behind the wheel. His smooth, consistent driving and willingness to learn made today a huge success in our eyes.

A massive thank you to everyone who helped and supported Tahbyuss throughout the day. Brad, Alex, Jay, Noel, JD, and the rest of the crew—we truly couldn't have done it without your time, encouragement, and support.

🏁 Race Day – Final Round of the Twin Track Challenge! 🏁

We're trackside today at Carina International Speedway for the final round of the Twin Track Challenge, and it's a very special day for the RT Racing Team!

Today marks Tahbyuss's first official race meeting, and we couldn't be more excited! After plenty of preparation and hard work, it's finally time to hit the track. Tahbyuss is absolutely stoked and ready to give it his all!

The weather couldn't be better and we're looking forward to a fun day of racing alongside an awesome field of competitors.
