This is a tough one to share, because 1. nobody wants to see their friend get hurt, 2. I knew Rhysty doesn't want the fact that he crashed so hard in the spotlight 3. Asking for help can be difficult.

But the facts are, Rhysty Rhys AKA the founder of Backbone BMX and my best mate, crashed really bad and and has spent over 2 weeks in hospital.

He has only just been released home.

He was in Brisbane (1200km from home) just him and his son, which made the crash even more of a test to deal with.

Traumatic Brain injuries can be tough to navigate and recovery can be quite long. Hopefully this gofund me will help with rehab services etc. as well as costs associated with everything surrounding the crash.

I want to thank everyone who has already reached out and helped Rhys and his family and if you're considering donating to Rhys, thank you.

Bit of a tough one to share, but unfortunately Rhysty slammed hard at the World Champs and could use some extra support! It's going to be a long road to recovery, but he is finally home to rest after being in hospital for over 2 weeks.
