VALE: Russell Chapman

It is with deep regret, we announce the passing of Russell James Chapman ‘Chappy’

Russell passed away on Saturday 13th June , aged 63, after a tough battle with Cancer.
Russ was a valued long term member of 25 years of our club and had also been a committee member, volunteer and sponsor over those years. Russ had a great group of mates that he played both Sporters and Saturday comps with, and he will be greatly missed.

Beloved husband of Suzanne. Dearly loved father and father in law of Jessie and Todd and Kara.

Relatives and friends of Russell and his family, are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service, to be held in The Chapel, Branyan Gardens, Cummins Road, Branyan on Monday 22nd June, commencing at 1.30pm.

Our sincere condolences to Russell’s family, friends and golfing mates. Our thoughts are with you all.

This weekend saw our club host the Golf Wide Bay Men’s & Ladies Championships, and what a great weekend it was with 189 players battling the windy course each day.
Congratulations to Gin Gin’s Scott Warren on winning both the Wide Bay Open & Closed Men’s Event and
Maryborough’s Kate Law on also taking out both the Ladies Open & Closed Event. Well done to you both! 👏
