What a fantastic AGM for the Coral Isle Cycling Club! πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈ. Thanks to all the members who attended. It was great to have so many people in attendance.

Leading into the meeting, like many community clubs, we were starting to feel a little tired and uncertain about the future. However, the AGM brought a renewed sense of energy, momentum, and commitment to keeping our club strong and thriving within the Bundaberg community.

Coral Isle Cycling Club provides something truly special for local cyclists through our social rides and outings, the iconic Gayndah ride, criterium racing on our dedicated track, and the exciting emergence of the Rail Trail Committee operating under CIC. It was wonderful to see members step forward with fresh enthusiasm and ideas for the future of cycling in our region.

We are pleased to announce our new committee:
🚴 President – Derek James
🚴 Vice President – John Hampson
🚴 Secretary – Catherine O'Donnell
🚴 Treasurer – Mark Penningh
🚴 Club Coach – Trixie James
🚴 Racing Secretary – John O'Meara
🚴 Racing Handicappers – John Hampson & John O'Meara
🚴 Fundraising Coordinator – Jen White
🚴 Community Liaison Officer – Bernie Kemps
🚴 Membership Secretary - Mark Penningh

Over the coming month, we’ll also be unveiling our brand-new cycling kit, and we encourage all members to get behind it and show their club spirit! At our next meeting, we’ll also begin developing a social ride calendar to create even more opportunities for members to connect and ride together.

We would absolutely love to see more members come along to our meetings and have a voice in shaping what they would like the club to become.

πŸ“ Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at the Young Aussie Hotel.
🍽 Join us for dinner at 6pm
πŸ•– Meeting starts at 7pm

Whether you race, ride socially, or simply want to be part of a supportive cycling community, we’d love to have you involved. The future is looking bright for CIC! 🚴✨

Further to our AGM on the 13th of May the committee has been busy designing our next edition of our Clubs Clothing Kit. Coming Soon. The kit comes in both Male & Female cuts. The club has purchased some sample items for perusal and will let our members know when they arrive. Pedali will open the club shop once we receive our order for members to purchase. Again we encourage as many members as possible to attend the upcoming AGM to discuss the direction & future of the club. I know how hard & busy it is but It would be good to have as many members as possible even if it is for this one night so we can discuss how we run the club going forward. Keep the rubber on the road & be happy.
