Well unfortunately that was a waste of a night.
Coming into corner 3 the throttle got stuck open and collected the wall.

Well have to fix her up again and make a small modification so it doesn't happen again.

Yesterday marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Bushman Sheds as ownership officially passed from Trevor to Damien.
Firstly, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to Trevor for everything he has built over the years. His dedication, hard work and commitment have made Bushman Sheds the trusted local business it is today. As he begins this well-earned retirement, we wish him every happiness as he enjoys more time with family and friends and all the adventures this next chapter brings. Congratulations, Trevor – you've certainly earned it! 🍻

For those who haven't met him yet, Damien is a proud Bundaberg local who has called this region home his entire life. Bushman Sheds will continue to be family owned and operated, and while there may be a new face at the helm, our values remain exactly the same.

As Damien says, "Why change what isn't broken?"

Our focus will continue to be on providing the same high-quality sheds, the same friendly service, and the same commitment to looking after our customers. This milestone is about so much more than time in business. It's about a vision, the people who have brought it to life, & the legacy we continue to build every day.

Our journey began in 2016 when, Brian aka Bossman started our company with a simple but powerful purpose - to be the change our industry needed. He believed security could, & should, be built on integrity, honesty, professionalism, & genuine service. Those weren't just words to Brian; they were the principles he lived by & the standards he expected of us all.
When Brian passed away in 2021, our industry lost a passionate advocate, & many of us lost a mentor, a leader, & a friend. While he is deeply missed every day, his vision continues to guide everything we do.

Every member of our team plays a part in carrying that legacy forward. Your dedication, professionalism, & commitment to doing the right thing honour the foundation Brian built. Thank you for representing our values every day & for making a positive difference to our clients & the communities we serve.

To our clients, thank you for the trust & confidence you've placed in us over the past decade. Your support has enabled us to grow while staying true to the principles that have set our company apart from the very beginning.

WE MADE IT !!👊

We got the car as complete as we could yesterday to make it to Autobarn Carina International Speedway.
It was a big night of racing, we were able to give the car a shake down and see how it would perform.
The upgrades that were made during the reshell seem to have been well worth it.
The car performed really well in the first heat but as the night went on we discovered a couple of gremlins along with the desperate need for new rear shocks.

At least there is very little to get done in the off season and we cash finish the cosmetic side of things, and have a strong start to the 26/27 season.

So that was the last race meeting for this season, another step up from last year winning a second place trophy in a feature. We look forward to seeing you all later in the year.

Were pretty close this week, we've nominated for the Carina classic at Autobarn Carina International Speedway.
The car should be back together and running this afternoon with a bit of luck, then we'll fit our panels and stickers and do our final checks.
