WE MADE IT !!👊

We got the car as complete as we could yesterday to make it to Autobarn Carina International Speedway.
It was a big night of racing, we were able to give the car a shake down and see how it would perform.
The upgrades that were made during the reshell seem to have been well worth it.
The car performed really well in the first heat but as the night went on we discovered a couple of gremlins along with the desperate need for new rear shocks.

At least there is very little to get done in the off season and we cash finish the cosmetic side of things, and have a strong start to the 26/27 season.

So that was the last race meeting for this season, another step up from last year winning a second place trophy in a feature. We look forward to seeing you all later in the year.

Were pretty close this week, we've nominated for the Carina classic at Autobarn Carina International Speedway.
The car should be back together and running this afternoon with a bit of luck, then we'll fit our panels and stickers and do our final checks.

Well......I gave it a crack but unfortunately I won't be making the Queensland Street Stock Title this year. It's taken longer than expected to get the car ready and finished properly after the crash that bent the chassis a couple months back.
I will still try and make the Carina Classic next Saturday if everything goes to plan.

Whilst the JayCee Motorsport rig is still undergoing its rebuild we're racing the 20/20 at Kingaroy Speedway with Wenham family racing this year.

Last night I headed out to Autobarn Carina International Speedway for a night of racing, but I was on the sidelines.

Today was a big day in the shed, and luckily Alan Price popped in at the right time to help me get the cage out of the car.

Last night we were out at Autobarn Carina International Speedway once again.

The night started out good, started 2nd and finished 2nd in heat 1, but it only went downhill from there.
The car felt terrible in heat 2, and i probably over drove a bit as well. Started 9th and finished 7th or 8th.
Heat 3 we were having a great battle when 2 cars tangled together ahead of me, i had nowhere to go and, hard on the brakes i t b***d one of the cars which resulted in big damage, we did finish that heat though in 5th.

We had a heap of repairs to get done to get out for the feature, starting 11th out of a 19 car field we lasted just 2 laps with more damage from that crash popping up during the race.

Not sure when our next race will be now as we don't know yet if this car is repairable, i think a reshell is on the cards now.
