"Latest News" With the season offically cancelled for 2020, I am very pleased to annouce that John Joyce from Oakey SHS will be the new QLD HPV Super Series Coordinaor for 2021. Over the next few months I will be working with John handing over the reigns to ensure a smooth and pleasent start to next years racing season.

I will be staying on the committee in a smaller role to oversee the Vehicle Specification documents and assist when needed.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that my wife, Rory, and I have met in this experience and thank all the school managers and drivers for accepting the the new formate, rules and regulations associated with the launching of the QLD HPV Super Series last year.

Additionally, Darren Dunn will be the sole race coordinator for the Bundaberg HPV racing event. Please email Darren directly regarding the Bundy event and John for the series.

We look forward to seeing everyone back on the tracks and racing again next year.

Stay safe and healthy and goodluck next year.

The time has come Racers, regrettabely I am annoucing the cancellation of the QLD HPV Super Series for 2020. All programmed events are cancelled. However, the Mackay organisers are still planning to host a small event in November but this will be a stand alone event. Contact them directly for more information.

We are all hoping that the 2021 season can go ahead as it should and host the first race in early May. The likely hood of this depends on the current health situation becoming under control and government restrictions lifting, so remember to follow the social distancing rules. Tell your friends.

The Fraser Coast Technology Challenge has been cancelled for 2020. We are still hoping to run a couple of events this year so don't right the entire year off just yet.

With every sporting event on hold with no estimated date of starting again, we are still planning for some races later this year.

At the moment, the Bundaberg race in October is still being planned and now the Mackay race organisers have informed us that they have changed the date for their event to the 14th and 15th of November. Yes this is late in the season and they understand that the seniors will not be able to attend but its better then not having an extra race for the year.

The Series Web site will be changed and updated as soon as the ban on sporting events has been lifted. Hopefuly in the next few months. After this, we will be speaking with all race coordinators to see if we can still run a HPV series for 2020 or just some individual events.

Stay healthy and keep training, but by yourself and not in groups OK.

All race event organisers will be accepting schools expressions of interest to attend events from late next week.
