Bunbury Dynamos Soccer Club Established in 1967, we have a proud club history that fosters success on and off the pitch. Dynamos Juniors began in 1973 with a team of U/17s and U/13s.

With 3 Men's , 2 Ladies and 24 Junior Teams competing in the South West competitions, we cater for all ages and all abilities. Dynamos F.C was formed in 1967 by immigrant worker employed at Laporte mineralsand company. The original Laporte title was change to Dynamos in 1975 and juniors became independent body. Senior and junior clubs maintain a strong realationship and share common ideas,headquat

ers and facilities. Dynamos is proud of its long contribution to our local community and the playing fields of Western Australia. Under its old name of Laporte, Our club was a founding member of the South-West Soccer Association, Bunbury Junior Association And Country Womens Soccer Association. Under the Dynamos banner it is a founder member of newly former Country Coastal JSA. In 2004, Dynamos Juniors, With 330 registered players was close to the largest Junior club in WA. Dynamos commitee members are Volunteer Supporters, Players Past And Present of the club, Plus a few old blokes with time on their hands and a passion for the game. Over the past 3 decades, Hundreds of youngsters have passed through our junior teams and went on to play in our senior ranks of Bunbury Dynamos. We sincerely trust they have fond memories and for some are still enjoying their time with Dynamos. The Dynamos Dragon has its roots in Welsh history. The Red Dragon features on the flags of Wales and the Welsh Guards, The Welsh Coat Of Arms and is a symbol for all things Welsh. The Red Dragon connection with Dynamos comes from Ron Moss founder member and designer of the club emblem and long time stalwart of our club, Who happens to be a welshman. We are very proud of our emblem and Ron. Our main rivals are Bunbury United and Hay Park.

This Sunday’s Men’s League fixture between Bunbury United and Bunbury Dynamos will mark the first annual Hickman Cup Memorial Game, honouring the memory of Steve Hickman.

Steve made a significant contribution to soccer in the South West, serving as a League Coach for both Bunbury United and Bunbury Dynamos. His passion, dedication, and impact on players and the local soccer community will be remembered through this annual fixture.

We invite all club members, past players, friends, and supporters to join us as we celebrate Steve’s legacy.

🏆 The winning team will be presented with the Hickman Cup at the conclusion of the match.

Congratulations Harriett
Very proud of our Bunbury Dynamos girls!

We are pleased to welcome Harriet to the SoccerPlay team, and excited to tell you that she will be leading our girls only sessions during Term 3!

Harriet is currently studying Exercise & Sports Science at ECU, where she is majoring in Football Performance. A keen footballer since the age of nine, she played in the Women's League at 14 with Bunbury Dynamos, then on to South West Phoenix Under 18s, and is currently proudly playing for Hamersley Rovers.

Her coaching experience includes all girls programs and Little Kickers, and she is currently assisting with a youth Indigenous program, which she is passionate about.

Harriet says: 'Girls’ football is growing so quickly, and I’m genuinely excited to be part of that growth, playing, coaching, learning, and giving back to the sport that’s shaped who I am.'
