Why do we offer both instructor-led AND video-led Pilates?
We want Pilates to be something you can actually fit into your life.
If you can make an instructor-led class, that will always be our first recommendation. There is so much value in having an instructor in the room with you — watching your movement, helping you find better form, making corrections, adjusting exercises when needed and giving you that individual feedback you simply can’t get from a screen.
But we also understand that life doesn’t always work that way.
Shift work. FIFO. Kids. Travel. Work commitments. Busy weeks. Unexpected changes. Sometimes your schedule simply doesn’t line up with usual class times.
And we don’t believe that should mean Pilates has to disappear from your routine.
That’s why we offer both.
Our video-led classes give you the flexibility to choose a time that works around your life, rather than having to rearrange your life around a timetable.
But our video classes aren’t generic, pre-made videos that are used across many gyms.
Every class is filmed by our own instructors, in our own studio, using the same teaching approach, detailed cueing and Pilates principles you experience in our instructor-led classes.
So while you don’t have an instructor physically in the room to correct you, you’re still being properly taught through the entire session.
We intentionally wanted our video classes to feel like you’re being guided through a real Sculpt Pilates & Barre class.
Because ultimately, we believe the best Pilates class is the one you’ll actually make.
If you can get to an instructor-led class — amazing.
If your week means a video-led session is what makes Pilates possible — that’s amazing too.
There isn’t a better option. There is simply the option that works best for you on that particular day, week or season of life.
Move when you can. Move how you can. Just keep moving. 🤍
