☀️ Ready for some serious fun this summer? Woodside Nippers is back at Dalyellup Beach!

🌊Give your kids (aged 5–12) the ultimate beach experience every Sunday morning from October to March. They will make lifelong friends, dive into outdoor adventures, and build unstoppable water confidence! 🏖️🏅

Here is what your future lifesavers will master:
🌊 Surf Awareness: Learning to read the waves and spot dangers.

🛑 Individual Safety: Spotting risks to stay safe anywhere.

🛟 Lifesaving Skills: Training to become the heroes of our coast.

Ready to do something epic this season? 🤘 If you are 13–17 years old, stop just sitting on the sand and start owning the beach. Joining a Surf Life Saving Club is your ticket to massive skills, adrenaline-pumping gear, and a crew that has your back.

What you’ll get into:
🛠️ Real-World Skills: Master first aid, CPR, and advanced ocean rescue tactics.

🏊 Elite Surf Training: Level up your swimming, board paddling, and fitness in the surf.

🚤 High-Powered Gear: Get hands-on with inflatable rescue boats (IRBs), and ATVs (age dependant)

🎓 Leadership & Vibes: Earn your Surf Rescue Certificate or Bronze Medallion, look great on a resume, and run the show training the younger Woodside Nippers.

Wildlife in distress - what to do next 🐢🐬!?
As a community organisation operating along our amazing WA coastline, we deeply care about marine environment & wildlife.

We consider ourselves lucky living amongst fabulous neighbours like:
🐬 Bottlenose Dolphins (that visit us frequently on the beach during Sunday sessions)
🦭 Seals and Sealions
🐢 Baby turtles
🐋 Whales
🦢 Swans, Pelicans, Shore Birds

It is our responsibility to look out for these animals and be considerate while enjoying the beach and ocean. One of the things we can help with is to act immediately when we find an animal in distress. The Wildcare Helpline phone 9474 9055 can assist and organise qualified help. The Dolphin Discovery Centre 9791 3088 can also assist, especially in relation to dolphins, baby turtles you might find on the beach, whales, and seals/sealions

Lets help out if some of them need assistance ❤️.

We owe so much to these guys, and a 'Thank You' feels often, just not enough!
So lets celebrate these wonderful heros 💪 and their machines 🚁 that always have our backs👍❤️!

👉 Did you know Surf Life Saving WA operates two helicopters – the Perth Metropolitan service and the South West service, which is based out of the Busselton Margaret River Airport. It operates from September to April each year with a focus on providing coastal surveillance patrols on weekends and holidays (public and school) over popular coastal destinations between Bunbury and Hamelin Bay.

The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter is proudly supported by the Government of Western Australia and partnered by Westpac.

Next time you are on the beach and see them fly-by, give them a massive wave 👋 and say thanks!
