The Wheatbelt delivered!! Here are our favourite pics from the annual getaway 😍📸

This year we headed in land to Kukerin to stay at the serene Mary's Farm Cottages 🚜
Special mention to ‘the rat bags’ for their reccy which led to us visiting this beautiful part of the world 🙏🏼

Friday we headed straight to Collie Golf Club to play 9 holes where Carolyn Ferguson was our individual Stableford winner with 20 points!
After settling into the beautiful cottages at Mary’s Farm we fired up the unique on site truck/BBQ for a welcome dinner 🛻🧑🏻‍🍳

Saturday morning was spent at Lake Grace GC which was a real highlight. What a hidden gem! 💎
Gorgeous views of the salt lake, sand greens and unique tee boxes on every hole. We played 3 or 4 ball Ambrose and scores were tied between our two teams, Bunbury Biatches and Capel/Collie Chumps, at the end of the day!

After a big day we were famished (some of us were thirsty too 😉) so we headed to Walkers Hill Vineyard where we enjoyed the local produce and wine 🍷

We started Sunday with a big brekky fry up before heading to Katanning Country Club where we were warmly welcomed. It was a pleasure to play at this stunning and beautifully maintained course. Fully reticulated and entirely volunteer run. Cannot recommend playing here enough!

The Kukerin Community Hub graciously fed us on Sunday night after a long day of golf. Many thanks to Cookie and the team 🙌🏼

Monday we headed back to reality with another pitstop at Collie Golf Club to play the other 9 in an individual Stableford comp. Leonie Caiger was our winner with 20 points 👏🏼

Thanks to all the amazing ladies who made the weekend such a laugh. It truly was a memorable trip!

In honour of the Evian Championships we are hosting a female only pairs event! 🏌🏻‍♀️❤️‍🔥

Grab a partner and come and play anytime during the week of July 6-12. Winning pair will receive a 6-month Trackman membership each valued at $750.00*. Novelty prizes up for grabs too!

WHAT IS THE EVENT?
One of the 5 women’s golf majors - The Amundi Evian Championship - is played on one of the world’s most picturesque golf courses, the Evian Resort Golf Club Champions Course which is located on the banks of Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) and the base of Mt Blanc in France. It is truly spectacular. Our event will be played on the same course (simulator version), during the same week 🤩

WHAT FORMAT WILL WE PLAY?
18 Holes
2 person Ambrose
Best Nett Score will win
Red Tees

COST?
Comp fee is $15 per player ($0 comp fee for you if you bring a newbie as your partner**)
Book and pay for a 2 hour sim session to complete the 18 holes anytime between 9am Monday 6th July - 3pm Sunday 12th July.
All entrants go into the draw for our door prize too 🎁

SOCIAL GATHERING?
Sunday Soiree - pop down on Sunday 12th at 3:30pm to see who has won, share a drink and some nibbles. Every player is eligible to win the door prize***

Congratulations to Jane Anderson who was our runner up for the Summer Order of Merit 🏌🏻🎉

Ando missed out on the overall win by only 3 points after a stellar season! Consistency pays off and we can’t wait to see where she places in future comps 💪🏼

In the meantime she seems pretty chuffed with her new beanie thanks to 🤩

Women’s Wheatbelt W(h)ine Tour 🥂🏌🏻‍♀️

This year we are changing things up and heading to Kukerin from July 31st to August 3rd to enjoy the serenity inland. What a great opportunity to play at courses on the road less traveled! There are so many hidden gems in the area to enjoy ✨

Please note that we will be playing primarily at courses with sand greens so if that isn’t your cup of tea then this holiday isn’t for you!
