We know we have been a little quiet on the socials front. Last weekend, well the past couple of weeks have been a lot. We turned out a whole new car with the amazing support from .lubricants and with amazing reviews from fans and people in our sport.
After a hectic race schedule the whole team is exhausted. The rear axle snapped at the end of the main straight and Ryan and the car went flying! Straight into the wall with major damage to the car. Ryan was able to walk away from the crash but has been very sore for the past week.
After reviewing the weekends events with family and the team we have decided to not race the upcoming double header for in Geraldton. Ryan and the team need a much needed break for their bodies and souls. We will use the time to recharge our bodies and minds with quality family time.
This sport takes a lot from everyone involved, most drivers have full time jobs, most wives have kids with their own schedules and activities, most crew have their own lives and yet we all show up every meet for this sport and people we love.
We ask that before people comment on a drivers performance at an event to take a step back and actually think. Do I need to be an ar**hole and write stupid s**t? Do you really think the driver has crashed on purpose? No! Drivers have a different perspective on the track than the fans up in the stands. Just think before you be a hero. If you really have something to say about a drivers performance, go say it to their face in the pits. Let’s see how brave you are then.
We will see you all at the next weekend for a great nights racing. Thank you to our sponsors, family and friends for all their support!
