WELL… THAT WAS KELLERBERRIN!

We’re pretty sure we took a white race car to Kellerberrin this morning… although looking at the photos, you’d be forgiven for thinking otherwise.

The rain started around 10:30am and then settled into a nice, persistent drizzle for the next 3–4 hours. But full credit to Kellerberrin Speedway — they threw everything at the track trying to get the meeting in.

Aaron headed out for his first heat and to say the track was heavy would be a slight understatement.

The result?

🟤 One completely mud-covered race car
🟤 One completely mud-covered driver
🟤 One helmet that appears to have grown its own garden
🟤 And enough Kellerberrin clay underneath the car to bring half the track home with us. 🤦‍♂️

By Heat 2 the track had improved, but Aaron noticed the oil pressure was unusually low. Back in the pits we also found a bit of oil in the engine bay.

With the drizzle refusing to give up, the low oil pressure and not knowing exactly what was causing it, we decided discretion was the better part of valour. There was no point risking an engine just to keep circulating, so we called it a day, loaded up and headed home.

Not quite the race day we had planned… but that's speedway!

A massive thank you to Kellerberrin Speedway Club and all their volunteers. They did everything they possibly could to get the meeting underway in some pretty ordinary conditions.

Now comes the fun part…

Finding our race car underneath approximately 3 tonnes of Kellerberrin mud. 😂😂

And somewhere under all that brown stuff, we promise you…

IT'S WHITE. 🤣🏁

TAKE TWO – KELLERBERRIN, HERE WE COME!

A fortnight ago Mother Nature had other ideas and our trip to Kellerberrin was over before it even began…

But this Saturday we finally get another crack at it!

Kellerberrin have rescheduled their cancelled meeting and AMC Racing #14 will be making the trip east for another day of racing.

Unfortunately the Production Sedan 20/20 isn't part of the rescheduled program, so we won't get to see Aaron and Tom team up as originally planned — we were really looking forward to that one!

But we're certainly not complaining… after a few weeks without racing, we're just happy to be getting the car dirty again!

The car has been sitting clean and ready since the last attempt, so hopefully this time Mother Nature behaves herself and Aaron can finally get behind the wheel and have some fun.

NEW PARTNER ANNOUNCEMENT – COAST 2 COAST AUTO ELECTRICS

AMC Racing is very excited to welcome Coast 2 Coast Auto Electrics on board as a new partner for the 2026/27 season!

Luke and Coast 2 Coast aren't strangers to AMC Racing either. We were originally put onto Luke through one of our long-time partners, Dreamstyle Concrete, and since then we've used Coast 2 Coast for a number of auto electrical jobs on our race car, race trailer and tow vehicle.

We've always been extremely happy with Luke's work and service, so when the opportunity came up for Coast 2 Coast to join AMC Racing as a partner, it was a great fit.

MOTHER NATURE – 1 | AMC RACING – 0 🏁

Well… this wasn’t quite how we planned to spend race day! 😂

Unfortunately today’s Production Sedan 20/20 at Kellerberrin Speedway Club has been cancelled, with Mother Nature deciding she wanted the win this weekend. 🌧️

The car was loaded, clean, ready to go and Aaron & Tom were looking forward to teaming up for what should have been a great day of racing.

On the bright side… we’ve managed to get through an entire race weekend without putting a scratch on the car, using a litre of fuel or covering it in mud. That could be a new AMC Racing record! 😂👌

So for now, the old girl gets to stay looking this clean for a little longer.

The good news is Kellerberrin are looking at rescheduling the event, so hopefully the speedway gods can line up the new date with the boys’ work rosters and we can have another crack at it! 🤞🏁

Until then, Mother Nature gets this one… 🌧️

Five years ago, these photos marked the beginning of an exciting chapter for AMC Racing.

A lot has changed since then. We've spent countless hours in the workshop, travelled thousands of kilometres, learned plenty of lessons, celebrated some great results, and continued working hard to make our team more competitive and professional every season.

One thing that hasn't changed is the support of some incredible businesses who have believed in us from the beginning.

A huge thank you to Harcher Perth Harcher Regional and Steves window cleaning service, who are still proudly standing alongside AMC Racing today. Your loyalty, encouragement and support have played a huge part in helping us continue to grow, and we genuinely appreciate everything you've done for our team.

When you look at our current car compared to where we started five years ago, it's a great reminder of how far we've come. We're proud of the journey so far, but we're even more excited about what's still to come.

Here's to the next chapter! 🏁💚🖤

It's finally race week.

This Saturday we're heading back to Kellerberrin Speedway Club for the Production Sedan 20/20, and this one is going to be a little bit special.

For the first time ever, Aaron will be joined by his cousin Tom Callaghan, with the Callaghan boys teaming up in Production Sedans!

Many of you will know Tom from his success in Wingless, Speedcars and Sprintcars, but this will be his debut behind the wheel of a Production Sedan. We're really looking forward to seeing how he adapts to a completely different style of racing, and we can't wait to share the experience as a family.

The #14 AMC Racing Commodore is prepped, checked over and ready to hit the track after plenty of work in the shed. Now it's time to load up and make the trip to Kellerberrin for what promises to be an awesome day of racing.

🏁 AMC Racing and Callaghan Racing are coming together! 🏁

For the first time ever, Aaron Callaghan and his cousin Tom Callaghan will join forces as a team for the Production Sedan 20/20 at Kellerberrin Speedway Club on August 8!

The unique 20/20 format sees two drivers share the one car throughout the day, with both drivers' results contributing to the overall finishing position. It's a true team event where every lap counts.

Tom is certainly no stranger to speedway, with plenty of experience behind the wheel of Wingless Sprintcars, Speedcars and Sprintcars. But this will be a whole new challenge as he climbs into a Production Sedan for the very first time!

Aaron has spent the past two seasons getting to know the AMC Racing VS Commodore, while Tom will be looking to adapt quickly to a very different style of race car. It'll be interesting to see how an accomplished open-wheel driver takes to a full-bodied sedan on the dirt!

More than anything, we're looking forward to a great day of racing, plenty of laughs, and the chance for two cousins to finally race together.

Good luck, Tom—we can't wait to see what you can do behind the wheel of the #14! 💚🖤
