Budo Kenkyukai - Graeme Sneddon Martial Arts

Budo Kenkyukai - Graeme Sneddon Martial Arts October 6th, 2021. My name is Graeme Sneddon. I am the Manager and Chief Instructor of Budo Kenkyukai – Martial Arts Research Network.

I first developed a love for martial arts as a child in 1982 and now in 2021, that passion grows stronger. Founded in 2004, BKK is a progressive and dynamic hybrid martial art whose focus is on total effectiveness in combat for men, women and children. My career as a martial arts teacher began in Penrith in 1989 and upon moving to Woonona in 2003, I opened the first school under the BKK banner at

Woonona Surf Club. This would be the progenitor Dojo that would see BKK grow in its peak to ten Dojos across regional NSW and the ACT. For the past ten years I have enjoyed the role of Chief Instructor at the Bulli Dojo where my function in delivering the BKK syllabus includes facilitating classes in anti-bully strategies to children, protective behaviours and harm minimisation strategies to teenagers and conflict resolution skills to adults. Our Branch Chief’s are accredited under the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme, senior first aid certified and approved under the NSW Working With Children scheme. As the NSW roadmap to recovery rolls out, I welcome you to my Dojos where our Instructors are adhering to all covidsafe protocols to ensure the health and safety of all our members. Further information can be found at www.martialartsresearch.com.au or I can be contacted personally on mobile 0410651161.

Osu!

A term used many times in our Dojo’s.

The spirit of perseverance. To continue through pain, fatigue, difficulty.

It’s OK if you don’t get it right first time. It’s NOT ok to quit & give up on your goal.

Here are some examples where I didn’t get it right first go.
