🌿Spring into Spring🌿 - Wk 2 down! 👊

🌿WOW! What a great week in the studio for Week 2 of the challenge!! 👏🙌💚🌿

Moving, breathing and learning that stretching doesn't at all mean easy. Especially when it comes to Climb-a-Tree on the Tower! 🧗‍♀️🌳

Finishing it off at Susana's Yoga studio this morning was such a treat.🙏💙

The vibe in the studio these last 2 weeks has been incredible guys - keep it up!!

There's a bit of a friendly rivalry going between some of the classes to see which is the superior when it comes to finishing the challenge!! Always a bit of fun & laughs. IYKYK😉 ...and maybe a smiley face fairy or 2 among us 🤭

We really do have the best little studio community here! 🥰

Week 2 of 🌱 Spring into Spring 🌱 is here!

What a great starting week we had last week - working hard on our strength, straight out of the gate! Well done to those ticking off their extra challenge classes already! 👊🙌

This week sees the end of the month & end of Winter, which means we're slowing it down for restorative week.

Think breath, slow & steady movement & held moments. 🧘‍♀️ Restorative week doesn't mean easy nor does it mean just stretching - it's about lingering, lengthening, control & precision in every moment.

How to complete this years challenge - make your usual no. of classes plus extras. Just one extra has you completing the challenge and receiving a little treat to celebrate. This years winner will have done all their usual classes too but will also have completed the most extra classes. 👊😊

Spring into Spring is about adding a little extra movement and shaking things up, so let's kick-off with clearing out the cobwebs and getting Footloose & Fancy free with all things footwork this week! 😊

🌱 SPRING INTO SPRING CHALLENGE 🌱
The goal - commitment and consistency to your health and wellness practices - not just in the studio with Pilates but also out in the real world where it's very easy to say no to ourselves or put ourselves at the end of the line.

In truth, to manage 'life' and all that means, we need to honour everything that allows us to show up everyday.

🌱 a strong and healthy nervous system
🌱 rest, not just sleep but recognising we don't have to say yes to everything
🌱 fresh air, we really do live in the best part of the country for the beauty of the great outdoors
🌱 movement & exercise

In the studio - Challenge yourself to make your usual number of pilates classes for 6 weeks and then stretch yourself to say yes to something just for you, maybe an extra class or 2.

❄️ Winter | Restore...... what a glorious relaxing morning it was. We quietly explored taking subtle movement beyond exercise and into experience.

🌿 We took our time to arrive, to slow down and settle.

🌱 We reconnected with our feet, our breath and the support beneath us.

🌊 We explored gentle spinal mobility and freedom of movement.

🌸 We created space through the hips, chest and body with ease rather than effort.

❄️ We allowed the nervous system to soften through stillness, breath and deep rest.

We moved gently between the mat, the Reformer, the Tower and the Wunda Chair, sharing moments of movement, quiet, warm tea and conversation.

More than anything, today reminded us that sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves isn't to do more... it's to simply slow down.

Our next Restore morning is in 2 weeks, I look forward to treating more of you to a blissful morning. 🙏💚🧘‍♀️
