The new year has started and some groups are back in full swing.

We were very fortunate over the Christmas break to receive a grant from the Sunshine Coast Regional Council to enable us to trim branches off some of the large trees in the property which had been deemed dangerous. Our sincere thanks to the Council for the grant funding. ..

Wow 4 inches of rain yesterday and well over 2 inches since 8am this morning.. unfortunately we are getting a lot of run off from next door. Have to put out some sand bags to stop the erosion.. Hopefully that will stop when they install the next lot of drains.

The Centre celebrated its 40th Anniversary last weekend. It was great to see so many visitors at this event. A fun atm...

The Centre celebrated its 40th Anniversary last weekend. It was great to see so many visitors at this event.
A fun atmosphere filled the hall.
Long time attendees Grace and Annette cut the celebration cake.
Special thanks to all our visitors - interstate, Bundaberg and local clubs. Also thanks to Matthew Mills , Glenn Wilson and Elaine Bebb Davis for calling during the night.
Dancers who had not finished the mainstream programme were catered for in a bracket or two.

I remember a symbol that was around when I started square dancing.

It was a square representing square dancing interlocked into a circle to represent round dancing interlocked to a triangle to represent clogging. I can't seem to find it again. Does anyone have a copy I could use please.

Many groups have started their 2025 activities. Suncoasters Square dance club will recommence on the 15th February. They will be holding an introduction to square dancing on Tuesdsy 18th February . Come along and give it a go. Dance in a Square and make a Circle of new Friends.
