Last night at the Lin Corbett Awards, Buderim Firebirds were incredibly proud to be named the 2026 SCNA Club of the Year!

This award belongs to every single person who makes our club what it is — our players, coaches, managers, umpires, committee members, volunteers, parents and families.

There are so many hours put in behind the scenes throughout the season, and we’re so lucky to have such an amazing group of people who are always willing to pitch in and help.

We love our little Firebirds community and couldn’t be prouder to bring this one home. 🏆

A massive, heartfelt thank you to the incredible Ains, Neve, Stella, Kat, Izzy M, Lily, Indi, Izzy A, Samaya, Maliah and Zoe from Thunder Netball who spent time helping out at our NetSetGO clinic!

Our youngest Firebirds had absolute best time learning new skills, playing games, and hanging out with such amazing role models from the elite level. Your energy, patience, and encouragement made it an unforgettable day for our future stars! Thank you for giving back to grassroots netball and inspiring the next generation of players. ⚡

Our Div 1 Firepower left everything on the court in their Preliminary Final, bringing not only their season, but their junior netball journey, to an end. What a ride it has been! The friendships, the laughs, the battles, the wins and all the memories made along the way, these are the things that will last long after the final whistle.

We are so incredibly proud of you all and the amazing group you have become. Their final season of junior netball may be over, but the friendships and memories will last a lifetime. What a way to finish an incredible chapter. 🔥
