Danny Doherty Celtic Supporters Club Sunshine Coast The Danny Doherty CSC Sunshine Coast welcomes both locals and tourists to watch the mighty Celtic Football Club in action here on the Sunshine Coast.

The Danny Doherty CSC Sunshine Coast was established in 2017. Our aim is to bring like-minded Celtic supporters together to enjoy the big games throughout the course of the Scottish football season. Our club is proudly named after Oglach Danny Doherty of Derry, Ireland. Danny was an Irish freedom fighter. He was a man who stood up to and resisted oppression from a foreign invader. As a young boy, Danny loved football and his hero was Peter Osgood. The Doherty family in Derry are Celtic supporters and members of the Derry No. 1 CSC. Our club is both honoured and privileged to have the blessing of the Doherty family to have Danny's name associated with us. We sincerely thank them for that and look forward to hosting them in the future. Our club also recognises the traditional owners of the land, the Gubbi Gubbi people. Like Danny Doherty and many of his comrades, the Gubbi Gubbi fiercely resisted the foreign invader.
