Last weekend we went for a little adventure to find some waterfalls (after eating a coffee donut at Kennilworth😍) ☕️☕️
We drove down a random dirt road, then we walked along the “no horse” signed track. 🚫🐎
After a few minutes I regretted wearing non-active wear clothes. The only time I don’t ...👟🤦♀️
The path became hard to follow... it was like an overgrown goat track along a ridge, bushy & slippery... especially in the strappy shoes I was wearing. 🍂🍃
I took off my shoes. I started thinking is this even a track? Is this even the right way? Should we just quit and go back?🤷♀️
But I am a little stubborn & we weren’t in a rush. We eventually found that damn waterfall...

😈I am going to ruin this story by pointing out the similarities of our waterfall journey & a fitness journey👿
🌟The time will pass anyway. You are not in a hurry! Just keep heading towards your waterfall.. (goal) even if the path is challenging.
🌟Circumstances aren’t always going to be perfect. Sometimes you wear the wrong shoes. Sometimes you miss a workout. Life happens, but you just gotta do the best you can, when you can with whatever you got 👊🏻
🌟You need to be a little stubborn. When that little voice says it’s too hard, you gotta put up a fight & keep following the path you chose!
Unless you decide you no longer want waterfalls.. (insert goal you wanted)
🌟Find similar stubborn people on similar paths so when it gets tough you look to each other and shrug “well we’ve come this far...” & push each other further
🌟Celebrate the wins, big and small! Even if the waterfall isn’t as majestic as you hoped. (The next one we found was way more awesome)
🌟Have balance, eat a donut... lined with Nutella & filled with coffee because you gotta enjoy the journey & sometimes that means trying new things 🍩 ☕️
