Congratulations to our young gun Michael Papanicolau in receiving his 2nd State League Stars of the Week in only his 2nd game for the club.

Following his 5 goal haul in Rd 14 against Tullamarine, Michael was on fire on Sunday against Thornbury in a man of the match performance scoring 4 goals and 2 assists.

Papa has fitted in perfectly with the Fury which has seen the boys win there last 3 out of 4 games since his debut.

Congratulations to our new signing Michael Papanicolau on being named Rd 13 Player Of The Week, State League Stars.

In what has been a frustrating season for Melbourne Fury, Michael was excellent on Sunday in his debut game for the club scoring 5 goals in our 6-0 win against Tullamarine FC which ended an 8 game losing streak.

It’s Match Day!!

We take on 10 time V League/SFV champions Pascoe Vale in what is the Fury’s biggest game so far in our short existence as a club!

Tonight’s fixture will be televised live on the WeFroth app, Facebook and YouTube under Series Futsal Victoria.

A massive night for the boys as we continue to carry on our good form after Sunday’s victory against Western City FC.

Congratulations to James Mouzakis for being nominated for Rd 5 State League Stars of The Week 👏🏼

James has been exceptional in his debut season for the club after 5 rounds of the SL1 season with 2 best on ground performances so far.

The young shot stopper has fitted in perfectly after a long term injury to Harry Kitharidis which will keep him out for most of the 2022 season.

With scores tied 1-1 after full time it came down to an epic penalty shootout with goalkeeper James Mouzakis producing some unbelievable saves.

A great team performance which hopefully kicks start our season.

We look forward to Thursday evenings Club Cup fixture against SFV club

We come away with a big 3 points as we hold off title favourites Thornbury United in a defensive masterclass.

The boys were disciplined from the start and the only goal of the game by Abner Nogueira late in the first half proved the difference.

Best on ground James Mouzakis was superb in goals keeping the Hounds at bay on numerous occasions.

A great all round performance from the group as we end a 8 match losing streak in all competitions.
