For those that followed Coop on his amazing feat running the Kosci100 for his first Ultramarathon last November, I am now seeing if anyone will take on the Challenge with me. I have never run distance in my life. However, this year I have set some huge goals to take on a challenge that mentally I can achieve and physically I will have to change eating habits, taking on yoga, rolling, stretching and learning how to run. I am 6 weeks into my program with eating 👍 yoga 👍 rolling 👍 strengthening 👍. Running starts next week. I am taking this challenge on to change my life and to raise money for a charity that will be chosen soon. If you are keen, you have 10 months to be ready. If you are not sure about running, please come and be a part of our support crew and see why this event changed my world.

Happy New Year everyone!
Our annual trip to the United Cup for the "Kids on Court Experience" delivered another rippa of an experience for our juniors. A tour of the tunnels, player spotting and a chance to demonstrate their skills in front of thousands of people had a few of the kids feeling a little nervous. However, they were fantastic and made some lifetime memories. Also, an experience of a lifetime for Indi who tossed the coin for the first match.

We also had two of our juniors competing for NSW Country during the United Cup. It is a huge honour to play for the NSW Country Team and they definitely played exceptional tennis. Congratulations to Andy and Beatrix!

Enjoy the photos of our fabulous two days in Sydney.

Às I sit here reflecting on what Coop accomplished in the last 24 hours, one word comes to mind "superhuman!" Coop had to wait to turn 18 to run his first marathon, so he chose to take on one of the hardest Ultramarathons in Australia and to raise money for a charity that is very close to him Talk2mebro.

The race started at 7.41am. There were so many mixed emotions! Excitement for just being there, the nerves for the unknown, the realisation of the kms ahead and has he prepared enough.

The first 50kms saw 80-100km winds, unbelievable amounts of snow and the battles of trying to stay hydrated and having the right amount of food in the belly. Coop's blew a shoe at 40km and had to run 20kms until he could change shoes. By 61kms, Coop's knee was starting to seize and lock up. At 92kms, Coop had been vomiting for the past 20kms due to his body not accepting the foods and liquids.

Coop was never going to give up so I asked him if he was going to walk the last kms and he said "I didn't come here to walk!" With 7kms to go, the on course first aid wanted to stop Coop from finishing due to no movement in knee and concerns he couldn't finish the race. As Coop was getting treated the young female first aider asked Coop for his number (meaning bib/race number) Coop gave her his phone number as everyone was laughing in the background. Coop was gone! Coop refused to stop. With 7kms left downhill into pouring rain, Coop crossed the finish line at 3.29am. 107kms at altitudes of 3861m. Race time - 19:47:06

Coop has taught me some life lessons I thought I already knew. He has just taken them to a whole new level.

To say I am proud is an understatement. To push himself through all the highs and lows and never give up on his goal to complete the race will be a memory I will never forget.

Coop and I would like to thank everyone for their support. It really helped Coop get through the day.

Last weekend we had so many of our juniors competing in the season ending Champion of Champions. There were many outstanding performances.
10/U Boys Artemy Tenyaev(Finalist)
12/U Boys Will Ferris (Finalist)
14/U Boys Hayden Sleigh (Winner)
14/U Girls Ruby Bindon (Winner)

We also had Ollie Becchio, Aengus Delaney, Henry Allen, Indi Allen, Cadence Butler, Annie Fleming all qualifying for this event. Everyone should be extremely proud of their efforts this year. We are in a very healthy and strong position with the depth of juniors in our program. Our tennis family is growing and 2026 looks very exciting!

"GET BEHIND THIS BIG FELLA!" On November 28th my son Cooper Frawley is taking on the Kosci 100, 100km ultramarathon to support the "talk2mebro" Charity. Coop is running for those that can't, for those still fighting and to remind everyone that no one has to go through it alone. Every donation makes a difference.
