Massive thank you to the BROOME FISHING CLUB and their amazing sponsors for putting on another awesome Broome Billfish Classic.

We're stoked to come away with Champion Boat Overall and Champion Boat – Fatty's Day.

A huge thanks and well done to all the other teams that competed. It was incredibly close between the top four teams. They're all so good and pushed us right to the limit, and honestly it could have gone either way at any moment.

So much work, preparation and plenty of sleepless nights go into these comps, so a massive congratulations and thanks to Jake Kempton , Paul, Cruz Mcewan , Raymond Pittard , Brian Maccarone and Stella Mae Woodman.

A big thanks also to Tom Nelson, Steel Greenhill and Adam Crowfoot. They didn't fish with us during the comp, but they're a huge part of the boat and everything we do.

We're also super proud of our other skipper/deckhand Tom for skippering Stitch Up to an overall runner-up finish.

I can't thank Sam Raine from norwest asset resolutions enough for all the hard work he puts into the boat.
A massive thank you as well to Steven Adamson and Hayley Adamson from Xpress Marine & Diesel Mechanic Broome. Their support and dedication behind the scenes keep us on the water, Thanks heaps to Fishsabi Fishing App and Catbo Custom Lures we couldn't do it without yous all.

The trophy arrived from The Billfish Foundation after recording the highest number of billfish releases worldwide in 2025.

We couldn't make the awards ceremony in Florida, but it's great to have it here in Broome.

A big thank you to our crew, guests, friends and family who were part of the season. We spend a lot of time chasing billfish because we love doing it, and we're lucky to fish such an incredible fishery right here in Broome WA
