QUESTION: Do UV strips need replacing?

ANSWER: Yes. Most sails will need their UV strip replaced at least once during their lifetime. When that time comes, the old strip is removed, Vacuwash cleans the sail, the sailmaker fits a new UV strip, and we can then apply McLube SailkotePlus if required.

The world is about to get a front-row seat to one of the most exciting sports on the water.

Hollywood stars Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are bringing their storytelling magic to SailGP with a new Disney+ docuseries following Australia's Bonds Flying Roos.

With Olympic gold medallist and sailing legend Tom Slingsby at the helm, the series will take viewers behind the scenes of high-speed foiling catamaran racing, where boats can reach speeds of up to 100km/h.

As sailing fans, we're excited to see the sport showcased to a global audience. If Welcome to Wrexham is anything to go by, this could introduce a whole new generation to the thrill, skill and teamwork that make sailing so addictive.
