When you invest in a leader, you invest in every person they touch — and that’s exactly what’s happening at Brooklyn United Soccer Club thanks to Sarah Adair.

After many years as a player, Sarah began coaching Brooklyn’s U6 Mudcrabs in 2025 and quickly committed to developing her skills. She completed Football NSW’s introductory coaching courses and later earned a Women in Coaching Scholarship to complete her C Diploma coaching licence. “As a volunteer coach, seeing the youngsters grow in confidence and learn to love the game of football is my greatest reward.”

This year, Sarah chose one word to guide her: LEADERSHIP. And she has lived up to it, earning a second scholarship through the Northern Suburbs Football Association to complete the “She Rises Leadership Program” through Monarch Management.

With the return of the Brooklyn Pearls Women’s team this year, Sarah has laced up her boots once again and stepped into the role of goalkeeper. She approaches this role with energy and enthusiasm, using her leadership abilities to motivate and encourage her teammates—many of whom are new to the game.

Sarah brings her professional experience and energy into everything she does — coaching, inspiring upcoming players and community building.. She leads with enthusiasm, supports new players to the game and lifts everyone around her.

We are certainly lucky to have Sarah in our community.
